Hello, was hoping to place an order for the Mach-e but missed out before the window closed for now. Does anyone have any idea when the ordering process would open up again? And do you think all models will be available to order? Thanks.

In theory, it won’t for MY2022. My guess is October for a MY2023. Better off just taking whatever slim pickings you can find for a cancelled order. Good luck.

Like the sold out maverick I expect new orders for the 2023 models to open up sometime in August you can Google that too some of the magazines seem to have the exact date

As we get closer and you Google when you wanna order the date will be released in advance and everyone will be ready

start around August 1
Here is a link to the site that is giving the maverick truck order date for 2023

order start August 16 and production begins in October for Maverick. I bet all models may be right around that date

Question is what will msrp be?
My guess is the bump that was to take place in April as a minimum and then comes down to potential price jumps on commodities. Just guessing but another 5% on top of the Proposed April increases. And, unless something changes, the tax rebate will be going away.

no one knows. Any reply you get is merely speculation. Last year orders opened at the very end of September but due to supply issues they didn’t start making 2022 cars until January. Production was supposed to start in November but that didn’t work out.

An educated guess would tell you that Ford does not want to be shipping 2022 cars in 2023 like this past year. That could go two ways. First option is that they have a better grip on their supply chain issues to not let that happen again and the new MY orders will once again open late September. Second option is they want some padding and new MY orders open a lot earlier in august or even July. I would bet money on option 2 but it’s just a gamble.

Considering supply issues that will remain at least into next year, I think it’s also a safe bet that a 23 car will be pretty similar to a 22, and could possibly be missing additional features.

There was a rumor posted on this forum that model year 2023 orders would open over the summer, but as many have said, nobody really knows. I guess part of it will depend on how quickly Ford can get through the current backlog. If they are truly making progress on expanding overall production capacity then it would make sense for them to open the orders up sooner.

As to whether all models will be offered again, nobody really knows. Premium seemed to be a thorn in Ford's side, representing the most popular trim but also reportedly not giving Ford the best margins while also being one of the more involved models to manufacture. I would not be surprised in the slightest if Ford cut it from their lineup, particularly while component shortages remain an issue. But again, that's just conjecture.
