No. The Mach-E was reclassified as an SUV, which brought the max MSRP to $80k.

There is nowhere that the IRS tells the dealer to give the buyer Form 15400. You have provided several references which only restate what I have already stated...

My dealer provided a copy of the 15400 form to me.
That is how I read it.
If you have the information or the form that is all you should need.

Nope. It says very clearly that if the dealer used reasonable alternatives to 15400 to give the buyer the information, like the Ford supplied form, they can send that form into the IRS instead of completing the 15400.

I know my taxes are held up with turbo tax waiting for them to receive a form. not sure if its for my car, or charger but its held up still

This all sounds strange to me. I filed with FreeTaxUSA and added in my tax credit for the purchase and also for the charger install. I submitted my return like a week or two ago and the federal one has already been received and accepted by the IRS and is currently being processed. Of course that doesn't mean it's completed or that I've received my refund - but it's definitely not held up waiting for a form.

Intuit can't do programming until the form is approved. Then they program, and test. They're usually a bit later than most other companies. I believe the software is more robust than FreeTaxUSA.

My dealer said that its included in the 12k discount I got but its not clear in the paperwork.
