I am just giving you crap (because I own an 81 Vette as shown below) that is "not practical" but I say to each their own.

50K to you may seem like alot but I am sure that there are some on this forum that it is a drop in the bucket and their EV is a mere novelty.

I just changed my 12v battery yesterday. My battery was fine and never had any signs of failure. i took delivery Feb 25 2021. 40K miles.

48 months. No problems so far. Use OEM charger at 110v so it is plugged in overnight 3-4 days a week. 2700 miles.
So, that’s about 56 miles/month or less than 2 miles/day. Maybe an e-bike, or even a nice walk, for health reasons of course, instead?

9th March 2021, still working, although I think I'm gonna source a new one, which seems surprisingly difficult in the UK.
Mine was 3/5/21 and I just replaced mine last month. It failed without much warning so a preemptive search probably is a good idea!

42 months and 59,000 miles. No issues <searches for wood to knock> I asked my dealer about it, and the service guy kinda shrugs and says I could have it checked "somewhere." DCH Ford in Thousand Oaks, CA does not seem to know much about these cars. I asked them to change my brake fluid, and they had never done one before, so they did not know how to do it, how long it would take, or how much fluid it holds. He pretty much said to just leave it with them and after they do the job, they will let me know how much it cost. They are useless over there, so I left.

A Tale of Two Twelve-Volts.

My 2021 XR Premium's 12v is still fine after 38K miles and 3 years of Ford Options. Despite the car running flawlessly over that time, I'm returning it due to the balloon being higher than the car's value.

So instead I leased an Ioniq 5 SEL AWD last month for the fast DC charging and low lease price (0 down, 12K miles, 13 months @$330). The downside? The 12v died last week after only having the car for 6 weeks. This, despite an 85% SOC and the car being garaged.

Thank goodness I still had my Mach-E around to drive!
