We took possession of ours in Jan 2021, and after reading the nightmare lock-out scenarios here, finally got it replaced last week at our local dealer for $190. And I called and verified the price before based on the nightmare price scenarios also listed here, e.g. the guy quoted over $1000.

Mine was built July 2022 and I received her 7 November so I presume that the 12v bat was relatively inactive during that time. Received the electrical “drain” message once since delivery but other than that no problems to date. I do have front/rear dashcams fitted by my Ford dealer which only operate when the car is on. When I have the inspection service this October/November before the 3 year warranty expires I intend to have the 12v checked and replaced.

April 2021 build date, still going strong.

Same for me, and it must be OK, the BC 1.3 just installed successfully. Now if the dealer could just fix my dam broken camera!

My MME first edition was manufactured in January 2021 and delivered at end of March. Original 12v battery and 85,000 km. I live in Ontario Canada, so harder on batteries due to winter weather. No need for replacement battery yet.

I bought mine 0n Jan 7, 2022 so 38 months. Not sure what the build date was. My inspection is due this April and I intend to change the battery then based on the reports of frequent failure AND the fact that the consequences are so great. I've always changed my batteries at the end of the warranty period. Of course, the cost was about half of what this will be. I'm also petrified of having someone tow this car so...

MME Job 1 built end of 1/2021 and I took delivery end of 3/2021. Still on original LVB, so 48 months since build, 46 months since delivery.

My 2018 Model 3 sent me a notification 11 days before the end of my 48 month / 480000 mile non battery / motor warranty that the LVB needed to be replaced before installing an OTA update. I scheduled a service request in the app and 3 days later it was replaced by mobile service as a warranty fix. It would be nice if you could get a notification on Ford Pass if the LVB is failing metrics which could remedy these surprises when car suddenly does not work or respond.

Mine just left my wife stranded while visiting a local state park. The Mach E was built the first week of January 2021 and took delivery on the second week of February 2021. 48 months. Funny how those batteries just give up. I will give my Lightning 36 months and change the battery before I get stranded.

‘21 Premium ER AWD Delivered 7/10/2021, changed it out on precaution end of Dec 2024 so about 3yrs 7months. Had no issues, but was having the HVJB replaced so figured it was a good time since it was already in.
