Genuinely interested to know if anyone knows the real reason why the Mach-E does not have a screw in tow hook like in the fron bumper access point like most every other car out there?
My understanding is that in the European market the Mach-E does come with a tow hook, and that tow hook screws into the front bumper access point where you would expect.
So with that said, what rational reason could there be for excluding this in North American markets?? ?
I'm not here to whine or complain, but rather I'm generally interested to know what thought process would be behind this decision, particularly when we are talking about a part with negligible costs associated, and a universal access point in the front bumper which already exists in ALL models. So why not include the threaded portion in this access point which is already there, and the threaded tow hook to go with it for emergency situations?? ?
Does anyone know the reason for this?
