Had my car since July last year, 18xxx+ miles, PAAK has been very reliable for the wife and I both. Never been locked out or unable to start and have never had to enter the password. Have had a few glitches but nothing serious.

I do keep the FOB in the glove box inside a faraday pouch so I don't forget to take it to dealer when getting service. Have not had to use it any other time

PaaK works great for some people and horribly for other people. Another thread full of people reporting being in one camp or the other isn't going to change that.

I get the fob from my wife and give to the service department.
Imagine trying to tell a valet how to use a valet code. I do the same with the fob. Too confusing otherwise, including at Ford service.

For years I've refused to let the valet drive my car. Almost all will let you park yourself. If not then go elsewhere.

My PAAK has worked flawlessly for 12 months now. Whenever I go out to the garage to program charging or just to play with it there is no problem. However, I still don't trust having only the phone so I keep the FOB in my pocket or my Faraday bag when I drive the car.

I was never able to setup PAAK if I had first done the Sync bluetooth pairing. I had to unpair Sync and clean up Sync/PAAK bluetooth connections on my phone, then PAAK paired just fine. Add pairing for Sync afterwards.
I have done this both ways. PAAK before Sync, and Sync before PAAK. I'm at a point now where I get the message that the download of the key failed.

Like with many functions in the vehicle being quirky, the more people post about their issues, the more visibility these things have with @Ford Motor Company, and the more likely that future FordPass and/or vehicle updates fix the issues.

I'm on an iPhone 13 Mini with latest iOS. PaaK worked great the first couple days, then I went on vacation and since then it's been iffy. Main issue is with unlocking the car. I've either been having to do it in the app or use the door code to get in.

Once I'm in, the car typically picks it up as a key but twice it hasn't detected it or takes a few seconds. Guessing iOS 15.4.1 impacted things but can't recall when I installed it.
