Will Mach-E tow the Lightship RV?

I tried to explain that many identical model cars sold in both the EU and US markets have a tow rating in Europe but are not rated for towing in the US. From what is posted in this thread the EU MME has a 3,300 pound tow rating and as I just posted a zero tow rating in the US.

The difference is nor mechanical but rather liability based.

The US-spec Mach-E is not rated for towing. That said, there are trailer hitches available for the MME. People have been known to tow things with their US-spec MMEs. ?‍?

Side note: The added energy cost of dragging around a trailer would be more than its solar power generator could offset. ??

The lightship had its own drive batteries and electric drive train. The solar is generally just a supplemental supply. You would typically plug it in at the camp site.

Honestly it is more suited for something like a lightning tow vehicle.

It's suited for any ICE to tow it. The towing mileage hit is universal. Saves more $ behind an ICE truck than an EV truck.
