Yeah I didn’t post here as a complaint or surprised by it. That estimate equates to like 2.0 mi/kw . I’ve never gotten less than 2.4 over an extended drive. Range does reduce I the cold, the estimates are “overly” conservative. You just have to develop your own calibration.. if your drive that day need a more a more accurate prediction.
I tend to disagree with many who complain about the GOM. For me, it is only slightly conservative, which is what I want. Today it estimated I would arrive with 25% charge, but I drove faster than the speed limit (oh no!) and arrived at 23%. I could have easily slowed down and arrived at 25% or better. The cool thing is you can see the estimate change based on how you are driving, and you can adjust your driving as needed. I find the GOM to be very beneficial, and I have zero complaints about how it works.

62 F in my garage, 28 F outside. This morning.

Mike, I installed a mini-split in my garage mainly so I can use the A/C 5 months out of the year (summer temps here average 105˚). However, I found another use for it. If I keep my garage heated to 70˚ in the winter, I get about the same range as I do in the summer. My car is always parked in the garage so my range doesn't change much.

That is a great setup.

My NG furnace is in my garage, which keeps it pretty warm in the winter. Not 70, but it is usually in the 60s. My driving history, on the other hand, is mostly highway with the cruise set at 80. In the summer my GOM is around 220 at 100%. I have not seen 263 in a long time! I am sure I could get it, though, in around town driving.

And that is exactly what most of my driving is. Unless I leave to go to Sacramento or San Francisco areas, I'm at around 80% around town and 20% freeway.
