I need to explain my vote. I do not use Blue Cruise because it has never been a I’ve on my 2001 Mach E. Two different dealers have tried without success to activate it. Ford opened a case on it last fall. The Ford rep now ignores my studiously polite emails and phone calls.
Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

My 2022 Select came with Adaptive Cruise Control but not Blue Cruise. I'm very happy with ACC and, since I've only done local driving, haven't missed much without BC.

Just to be clear, I WOULD pay for BlueCruise at the original announced cost( $600/3yrs), but NOT at the new costs that they announced ($800/yr).

I have a different take. $800/ year at 20% take rate is what’s required to net 8% EBITDA margin at Model E. They convinced the street that enough people would subscribe, to buy themselves 2-3 years, which is eternity compared to the average CEO’s tenure. Their announcement came on the heels of Musk running a BOGO deal on Model Y and promising future subscription-based revenue to make up for it.
I don’t think there’s a chance in the hot place that 20% of owners will pay $800 per year.

I am not sure if 2% of owners will pay $800 for a L2 autonomy drivers assist system per year

if it was a true L4 drivers system that I trusted -probably worth that much- but our cars don’t have that kind of hardware.

Ford is simply way off the mark on this pricing. I hope they get realistic or they will be in for a big shock.

The product manager /exec management has made a major error in judgment here. All they are getting is bad press and upset customers.

I drive. I don’t need a system (especially a seriously flawed system) to help me with that. However, I do like the occasional convenience of BCHF. It can make driving a little easier. I always expected it to become a subscription, but 800 a year or 2100 for 3 years is just not what it’s worth for me. 100-200 dollars a year, tops. When my trial period ends, if the pricing isn’t in that range, bye bye BCHF.

I’m in the $600 for three years bucket, even with the used one I bought. I’ll do that and hopefully it will be more reasonably priced in 2027. If not, I’ll probably give it up. Lots of road trips coming up this year. I’ve enjoyed HFBC on the longer drives. As for NAV? I don’t think so, I use Apple Maps which integrates with the car and micro-manage my charging stops. When home I charge in the garage so I don’t think preconditioning is necessary. Also, doesn’t stay cold for long.

Used it for the first time a few days ago on a short trip. Takes a little time to trust (lane changes are nice.) Kinda cool but would not pay for it.

Possibly for a much lower cost than what’s currently being touted. At most maybe $50 a month.

Live in an area where most major highways are mapped, charlotte NC so it has been convenient for trips to the beach and mountains but you constantly have to babysit it. Not sure if my right side sensors are off or of the car just likes to hug the right lane line but 1.0 is way to close for comfort when passing bit trucks. From what I have seen 1.3 will correct this but the fact that Ford has not put in an option to select a preference on lane positioning kind of baffles me. 15 a month is about spot of for what I would pay in the future if 1.3 is what it's suppose to be. 800, no chance

Shouldn't only "yes" or "no" be answer to this question? Why so many options.

they should have grandfathered pricing. when I ordered it was 600/3yr irc. Then they raisd it to 2400/3yr. I now refuse to deal business with Ford.

For the price advertised when I bought the car, I would consider it if it worked on the roads I travel most. For the new prices I saw for it, I would not be willing to pay for it.

I have used Blue Cruise on many trips. On a 3 hour up and 3 hours back drive from San Jose to Roseville I only had my hands on the wheel about 15 minutes on the freeway. It was great in the stop and go traffic around Sacramento, would come to a full stop when traffic did and then startup again with the traffic. It saved the life of a person on a black bicycle with black clothes and no lights that cut across the freeway in front of me at night on highway 17, I would have never seen them. Have no idea where they went or why they were there. Would I pay for it when I subscription runs out, yes! Looking forward to the 1.3 release.

I wouldn't pay any subscription for it at all.

What is currently installed in the car I should be allowed to use until I sell it, as I have already paid for it. If I want UPDATES, yes I can see there being a fee for it. So in another 2.5 years my BC is frozen in that state unless I pay to have further map and feature updates... assuming that the hardware in the car can even support any forthcoming enhancements.

Here's what I don't care for, I PAID for the extra hardware and software to be present in the car. Ford is in effect, holding it ransom unless I pay them EXTRA money just to be able to continue to use it. This is as dumb as BMW making people pay to turn on the heated seats already installed in the vehicle.
