That's just a wee bit more than 2" of water in that pic.

He was probably just trying to cool down his charge port enough to use his 40amp EVSE at its full output.

Quick translation - driver lost control on Autoroute 30 during severe weather (Montreal reported a tornado) and slid all the way into the river. The river is not too deep in that section and the driver was treated for shock. No kidding.

Had it been the winter all would have been well ;-)

I never knew it got warm enough in Canada for liquid precipitation.

I mean, everything is relatively water proof.. Ideally so long as you kept the go peddle down it should push through ya??? Saw video with a Tesla driving through water over the hood, went a good ways and just drove right on out.

Everything on the outside, no so much on the inside. He shouldn’t have opened the doors! Lol

Assuming it gets recovered out of the water, all of the most expensive items (HVB, motors) should be unaffected, right?
