EDIT: I attached a STEP file with the 3D model. A word of caution however: I've not printed this version. I wasn't 100% happy with the version in the photo below and to fix the issues I need to make substantial rebuilds of the model. So I recommend if you do want to use the model, verify its suitability before printing! I can export the model in other formats as well. If there's a preferred format, let me know and I'll do it if I can.

I created a case for my two Tesla charging adapters - the Ford (Tesla-made) NACS to CCS Adapter and the TeslaTap Mini. (You can see the models I used to make the cavities here.) There's also space for two Master padlocks to secure the TeslaTap adapter when it use. (Hey Tesla, why didn't you think of this for the CCS adapter????) If anyone is interested, I can put up the 3D CAD model for this. (In case you're wondering, there are bosses on the underside of the cover to hold the adapters and locks in place.) While I'm pleased with the results overall, there are a couple tweaks I need to make before I post the model.

Very fancy. I just had mine recalled so not using it. I am certain it’s coming “soon”

So for those of us who are not engineers, lol, and got tired of having a laptop in your face for over 20 years, in the IP business, and only choose to use your iPhone as a computer nowadays. How much would you make one of these for a guy like me lol?

Jerry, it takes 14+ hours to print everything and I hand fabricated the closure pin so it's not something I'd like to be doing a lot of, but I guess I'd be willing to do it for a Benjamin... ?

I’ll keep that in mind ? Thanks
Out of curiosity I had a service I've used many times in the past (before I got my 3D printer, as well as for other fabrication processes/materials) quote just the bottom portion of the box: $92.34. I'm not trying to convince you to have me make you one; I just thought I'd give you a reference cost.

That’s fine. I’ve got one of the ones that was not recalled and I never use it. It just sits in the glove box cause I don’t travel so I’ve always said anybody comes through GULFPORT Mississippi and they need to borrow one. Stop by use it and bring it back lol

Nice design! I don't think I'm in the market because I have the A2Z and it came in a nice little case, but I will be getting the ford adapter soon, and I do have a L2 NACS adapter.... hmm.....

Would you be willing to share the design file? As I'd have to modify for my adapter set, whatever that's highest use (not just the obj?) would be snazzy, if you don't have IP issues.

If not, no worries....

Hi Brian, sure, I can share the design file. I need to make some adjustments (I'm not 100% happy with the design but not unhappy enough to reprint! ?). I'll edit the OG post with it once I'm done.

John - That looks very nice!! What kind of printer do you have, if you don't mind me asking. Looks like you get good use out of it. I'm looking at getting one for the teenagers to play around with for christmas.
This will be one of my first prints. :) Of course assuming Ford ever gets to order 130,000.
Well, maybe I'll wait to print that out until I have it in my hand. LOL.
