Parts for safety recall 23S56 are now available in limited quantities (2021 and early 2022s with original HVBJB design). Please note there will be a priority system, GTs get first priority, followed by AWD, then RWD last (extended range packs only). You will be notified by mailing in waves based on the priority system. It's suggested that you wait until you get your mailing before scheduling. However, in the meantime if you get a SVS (Service Vehicle Soon) from a failing HVBJB, you should be given priority.
Please be patient as this will be quite a process to repair all the HVBJBs on 30,000 Mach-E's. Once it's your turn and you have a scheduled appointment, your dealer should order parts about a week in advance (see note below).

Also, there is another note about previous HVBJB replacement:Dealers should order parts through the Special Service Support Center (SSSC) (5) days prior to the service appointment to ensure parts arrive in time. Refer to EFC Number: EFC14021 for additional Owner Care Plan details related to Safety Recall 23S56.
This means that if you had your HVBJB previously replaced as part of TSB 23-2348, you will not need to get it replaced again.Note: 23S56 includes the same parts and procedures as contained in TSB 23-2348. Therefore, 23S56 will be closed automatically when TSB 23-2348 is, or has been, claimed.
