For anyone interested it looks like the OTA is rolling out. Just received an OTA to fix the IPM recall this morning. 2024 Mach E Premium non-Early Access.

Hmm, The OTA updates don't work on my MME. Even connected to my home WiFi it just says "Getting the latest software update status... (This may take a minute or so)" indefinitely.

Had the exact same problem. When I went in for the recall, Had the dealer look at it. After several days of them working with Ford, they were able to fix the problem

The problem is definitely on Ford's end.

you need to disconnect your 12v for 15 minutes. I had the same issue and took it to the dealer. After the first failed attempt by the dealer on the second trip they disconnected the battery.

That fixed the issue…

My mobile tech made an interesting comment when was he was updating my 2024. I asked what he thought of these evs, he said he was always happy when he’s going out to work on the 2024 as they generally have less problems. **grain of salt **knock on wood

And as soon as I added to this thread, the OTA came through on my car. I can now cancel the dealer service. BTW, the service rep said they couldn't do this through their recently added mobile service. Which of course makes no sense. I think maybe they want to upsell some other thing, maybe an oil change, lol.

On Friday I got an unsolicited text from the dealer where I purchased my car saying I should bring it in for this recall. Saturday morning I got notification about the OTA update. Updated yesterday afternoon. No soup for you!

Well in this case you got a 2021 which is far outside the recall model year window:

2024 Mach-e Premium AWD ER. I had been getting texts from the dealer about this update for the last month. I was waiting to hit 30k for my service and tire rotation but it just came through as an ota the other night
