Hello I have a 25 mach premium, the hotspot says " "vehicle hotspot isn't available right now. please try again later." And with this no updates are happening. It also isn't updating the battery % or car mileage in the the app or ford owners website. The fordpass app everything else works lock/unlock pak. Has anyone seen this?

Hotspot has nothing to do with the car sending data to Ford servers.

Check your connectivity settings.

Updates are sporadic and infrequent. You may not have any on a 2025.
I have gotten a total of only about half a dozen on my 2023. Maybe even less.

Same here, I purchased in December of 2024 and have never had an OTA update.

I did one update at the dealer at 10K and the only record I have is the dealer service record in the Ford pass. I did get a printout of what was done. Rotated tires software update with some code numbers I'll have to look that up again

But it doesn't show previous software numbers or newer software numbers in any record of my vehicle FordPass or online.

Unless whomever is doing the FDRS updates takes note of what each module's software revision is prior to and after updating, you simply will not know what revision numbers yuou have other than the main Sync version (which is displayed on the screen). 🤔🐩

All connectivity settings are in and good. Ford can't even read my car remotely thats why I assume hotspot. Since they can't read anything.

Just to clarify, the hotspot is where the car creates a hotspot so that you can connect devices to it over WiFi and get an Internet connection.

The car on the other hand, should always be able to connect to the Internet, for the very reason getting this information from the car and for OTAs (which as others have said you might not have gotten any yet). I believe the ISP is AT&T. It sounds like your car cellar connection isn't working.

As discussed in this other thread, somethings require an Internet connection, and some don't. Like remote start does, but locking/unlocking doesn't.

For reference though, I bought my car exactly one year ago, and I have got about 3 or 4 updates. The last one I just got one a couple of days ago, but before that it was a few months.

If your FordPass isn’t updating with the current car information, the gateway module/modem is provably frozen. And probably why you’re not getting the hotspot to work.

Pull the 21/22 fuse in the passenger footwell or remove the negative 12V battery cable for a few minutes then put them back. That should force things to reboot.

This or go to your nearest Ford for service.
