Again you are missing the point. It wasn't supposed to be an 'option' in the Premium trim. What part of that don't you understand? It was shown as something that was being delivered in the Premium package. If you read the TMC forums you'd see it was clearly shown as a "GPS Home Link" that automatically senses location and triggers the opener, just as it does on my S. The actual ordering website was pictured and it's clearly shown!

Tesla renegged and didn't deliver it. Of course it's an option, but it was NOT, repeat, NOT delivered within the Premium package as originally promised. So you have a car over $50,000 that does not have Home Link. This proves your statement is false. There is zero 'guarantee' a $50,000 car will have it.

With that said, I do believe (hope) Ford will have it on the Mach E, but only a fool would say it's a certainty. Are you part of the Ford Development team. Do you have info that nobody else has?

Just a reminder, the Mach E in all pictures thus far are prototypes, not production models. Yes, it's likely the Mach E will have it. Would you bet your life on it? I wouldn't.

And as to the usual LTYMCQ misstatement, the lack of Home Link on the Y is not a question of something that Tesla simply 'forgot' to activate, it was deleted from what was clearly promised. You can't just go to a SC and say, "Hey, fix my Home Link, it's broken". You'll have to pay $300 or $500 or whatever Tesla decided to charge you for the feature that was supposed to be there. You clearly said any $50,000 car will have it. You're wrong.

Yes he is wrong. I just called him and he said he was wrong. He just
doesn't want to admit it in writing. That being said what else do we
want to discuss ? Let's find something as MME is going to be a very
long wait.

I wonder how long the car will now be delayed because of what's going on. In NY, all our restaurants are being closed with just takeout being allowed. This is really getting pretty bad. It's like living through a sci-fi movie.

Yes, it looks like the whole world is shutting down. I’ll be surprised if there are any deliveries in 2020.

It really is. Must be what the zombie apocalypse feels like. ?

Seems to be making it's way around the world. Haven't heard much about Mexico yet, but gotta figure it's probably next. Which probably means disruptions there, maybe even the plant shutting temporarily. Or at minimum supply line disruptions. At this point I'd expect at least a 1-month slide in the schedule. China and Japan seem to be emerging from the other side of this thing, so hopefully no more than a month.

We had a meeting last week and this question came up about the supply chains. There were high praises given to the purchasing teams for distributing the sources of parts for the Mach-E. No indication was given of any delays as of last Thursday. The message was that pre-production build cycles were happening on schedule and overall we're still on track for 'decent numbers' of customer deliveries in Q4.

We were shown some photos during the meeting of the plant and pre-production vehicles coming down the line. We saw various other sections of the plant like parts storage, paint areas and glass roof installation rigs. Everything looked like it was shaping up nicely. Very excited for this vehicle to launch and get my hands on one!

The whole world is reporting cases. Russia and Mexico are not reporting
anything. Those countries must have it also but are being silent.
USA restrictions are getting very strict. This is bad and real.
It will effect a lot and yes the MME too.

Russia reports 90 (I would guess it's actually a lot more), Mexico 53.

The positive point will be as more cases are identified after testing, we'll see the death rate going down quite a bit. Many have the disease and are unaware of it or simply haven't been identified/tallied. Thus the denominator will grow substantially. We have a better handle on the fatalities, so that's why as time goes on, we'll see the percentage death rate drop.

I just want to say that I have read your posts on this topic and you seem to have issues with people to the point of being what I call a personal attack.

"Yes he is wrong. I just called him and he said he was wrong. He just
doesn't want to admit it in writing"

You can disagree. You can think what you want. However I do NOT like personal attacks. NO ONE IS PERFECT!!! Personally I have learned a LOT form people like LYTMCQ. I may not agree on some of his/her opinions but I rest them all the same. Frankly I view your posts as both inflammatory and the entire concept of calling a person a liar bothers me. I was taught if you have nothing nice to say about a person then shut the heck up.

Think about it.....

Yes you are correct. This was not directed to LYTMCQ. It was for timbop to stop
harassing LYTMCQ. And I have nothing against anyone. I guess I made a mistake
on my wording. I just wanted timbop to chill out and move on. I'll quit trying to
keep the pease and let those who want to argue just do it. Sorry
