Hey all, I'll be at the world finals event for car audio next weekend competing in sound quality (not loudness). It's happening on the 11th and 12th at the Birmingham Alabama Jefferson Convention Complex. Thought I'd put out an invite to anyone that's interested in car audio and might want to talk over how to build a system in our cars

I've had a great year so far! I've won a lot of awards -

Culminating in taking home Indiana State Champion for sound quality, install, and sound pressure level!

At first, I thought it was about an outside sound system to make our MMEs sound like a V8. The factory sound system is fine for me, but good luck in the competition.

Solid question, for the longest time I just laid the factory floor on top. These days I have grills for the subs and put a carpet floor over the top.

I'll be real, I struggle not to put more woofers in the back though :/

How did you bypass the stock amp in the back and get the main audio out from the touchscreen? I don't think many have figured this out - I recall one person replacing the entire amp but not sure how they did it. Most people with aftermarket simple sub setups just piggy back off the sub output from the green connector and are stuck with the limiting that it does when the volume is past a certain point.
