I have been reading articles talking about the Ford engineer who invented the directional arrow for gas cap locations. In that article it showed a F-150 Lightning also having the arrow for the charge port. I do not see the arrow on my 2021 Mach-E. Just wondering if I am missing it or if any newer Mach-Es have it.

I read that same article. Mach-E does not have one sadly, but you can certainly create your own and stick it on the screen lol

We charge so often that the sign is tattooed on our forehead. Just try asking someone and see how fast they answer.

I've only found it useful in rentals or other cars that I haven't driven previously. Once I drive a car for a while, I know which side it is on.

Am I missing something or if you own & drive one you’d know which side and wherever you pull up to charge the cable reaches, it maybe whether front or rear is more important than left or right🤷🏼‍♂️

Ice is no mystery either. US and Japanese cars, left. European cars, right. Mystery solved.

Ford Explorer is in the right. At least it was on my 2013.
And here you are 12 years later and you know exactly where it is at without looking at your IP.

The cap is on the left on the new ones, btw.

Yep….I find the arrow useful on rental cars. That’s about it.

When we had 2 gas Ford vehicles, the gas cap was on different sides. While I would regularly fill my car, my wife usually took care of hers. So it was helpful when I did have to fill her car.
