Thanks for the updates. First to get their cars get the first hiccups. Thanks for the info, I took it to the dealer today because after connecting it to either a L1, L2 or L2 (32 AMP) charger the car goes into a fault after you remove the charging connector. It appears to go away and come back. When I was at the dealer they wanted it all day today with little hopes of when I would get it back. I had other plans and so far no issues with actual charging or driving so I left the dealer and made an appointment for Monday.
This is my second visit but what they did the first time need to be done again to get Ford Engineering involved. So the process starts again etc.
Maybe a Ford Mach-E engineer is on the Forum and can call my dealer to give a hand, wishful thinking.
The dealer confirmed that a firmware notice came out today which is very similar to my issue. However they are NEW to the MACH-E and said they have no idea if it applies and they must run a process with Ford via the "Hot Line". Basically they need handholding from Ford and must be provided the next steps.
I guess I could have left it today, took another loaner and maybe hopped for the best, but I had other plans. At the time I also was hopping by Monday a bright light of info gets to them and they have an attack plan. Again probably wishful thinking but you never know who is reading the forum.
Stay tuned my friends...
