It appears the interior width is better in the Mach E, whereas the height is slightly better on the Model Y. Very slightly more leg room as well.

It really appears to me the interior will feel almost identical, and the exterior is almost identical.

A couple initial thoughts.
The 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds you list is the estimated for GT with performance option. But of course the MSRP and range for that won’t be $60,500 and 250 miles. For the GT (non-performance), the target is likely 3.8 or 3.9 seconds.
On the other hand, a significant advantage of the Ford not reflected here is that it’s still eligible in the US for the Federal tax credit, which at least for me is a significant factor in my decision to wait on the Mach-E.

Thanks, all speculation at this point and I'm using best case data given from manufacturer and articles.

I really like the foot activated rear lift gate option, that is a great feature to have.

Fair enough but, to be clear, the best case data given by Ford is sub- 4 seconds for GT with 250 miles range, or mid- 3 seconds for GT performance with 235 miles range (and unknown price).

The biggest advantage of the Mach-e is the tax credits.

I am changing my order from Premium, AWD with ER to SR batteries to keep the MSRP under $55K. In New Jersey, the will give me the Fed credit of $7,500, plus the State credit of $5,000 plus no sales tax. So, that works out to a savings of $15,203. So, the $53,300 Mach-E will go for $38,097. That, I think is a good deal for what you get.

That's a better deal than I can get. The California state credit is $2.5K and sales tax still applies.

Which version has both 300 mile range and 3 second performance? Can we only get range OR performance? That doesn't sound right.

You can either get 250 mile range and under 3s 0-60 or worse 0-60 and 300 mile range.

AWD non performance gets 270 miles range I believe

I'm pretty sure that $2500 credit dropped to $2000 this year, and the car has to cost less than $60,000.

Yes, it is a trade off. If you want targeted 300 mile range, you need the extended range RWD with targeted 0-60 in mid- 6 seconds range.
