Any info on the 2027 Mach-E refresh?

I have 2 requests
1. Native NAC. This would solve over heating during high heat days in the west. Also higher charging rates in the 250-350 range. Much faster charging
2. Use Google Maps. Ford does not show Tesla on their mapping g system. I want to be able to choose which brands of charging station companies that I want to see.
3. Sorry just came up with another. Rivian has a contract with Tesla. When they plug and charge they get the Tesla rate. I do too but I have to use the Tesla app and pay a subscription price. Same with EVGO.

Does Ford even sell Lincoln in the EU? Lincoln sells most their vehicles in two countries, the US and China. Some years, the sales figures in China are actually higher than here in the US. Lincoln also has been doing well in the Middle East. Overall while Ford does not sell a lot of Lincoln vehicles, they make a decent profit on them.

Lincoln? Very little PR about the brand here and not sure what remains? What Lincoln vehicles are sold in China?

This is not true. Rivian drivers pay the same non-member rates with plug and charge.

They have to subscribe to the plans and initiate the charge with the Tesla app before plugging in like everyone else in order to get member rates.

Before a 2600 mile road trip I Just took in my car, I would have said, "eh, just keep the CCS port for now"... then I saw the reality of the current state of CCS chargers and now I say just "flush 'em all". The only reliable chargers I could count on for the whole trip were the Tesla chargers. I got so sick of getting off an exit and finding that most of the chargers were broken, for my return trip I went nearly Tesla-only. It was a much better experience. there was one reliable bank of CCS chargers I found on the ENTIRE trip, from a vendor called IONNA or something similar. Otherwise, I had issues with the charger being dead, not working with Ford's wallet/the card reader being non-functional, it was stupid. They also tended to be beat up, filthy, smashed up, etc. across all brands I saw. The ChargePoint ones were the worst offenders, but the EVGo/GM Energy ones were beat to shit too.

Every single time I'd snap the adapter into a Tesla cable and plugged it into my car, it would start to charge. Every single time. I hope Ford or someone partners with Tesla and starts replacing those beat to hell CCS chargers en masse. Now that the standard is set, the auto mfgs really need to start fixing this crap.

PS - trip was Michigan to Texas and back. I'm guessing if I'd been on one of the coasts I would have had a better experience as the cities are much closer together, but this Mach is the first and last car I'm buying with a CCS port. Two more years on my lease.

Also, besides the charging drama, the Mach E is an AMAZING road trip car. The seats were incredibly comfortable even driving 8-10 hours a day, the Carplay never failed (unlike every other car I've ever owned with Carplay where it would just disconnect once in awhile for no reason), the BlueCruise was zero stress and meant I'd show up much more well rested and less stress. Let me see more of the sights as well. As an aside, I do wish I could buy BlueCruise by week and not by month. It's not worth it for me to keep full time, but for road trips, it's worth every penny to just buy the time I need.

My experience in April during a 1700 road trip was the GM/EVGOel stations at Pilot/Flying J travel station was positive. Perf

China sells the Zephyr sedan plus Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator and Navigator SUV's. All except the Navigator are built in China. Navigator is imported from US. Here in the US, the Lincoln Nautilus is imported from China and starting this November, the Corsair will be imported from China.

Nope. Having the NACS port has nothing to do with the rate you pay.

Tesla opened up their NACS port/charging standards up to everyone in 2022. SAEI adopted it in 2023. The 2025 Hyundai Ionic 5 was the 1st non-Tesla to have a NACS port.
Rivian users must subscribe to a Tesla membership and use the Tesla App to get discounted rates. Rivian owners do get a discount on RAN.

Lincoln seems to be going the way of Mercury in the USA. Built in China but not the USA. Maybe we should post Vegas odds on whether Lincoln lives in the he USA beyond 2028.
