I picked up my MME FE yesterday. Love it! When I got home I plugged in my mobile charger and all three lights remain on. The manual indicates, REBOOTING; THE MOBILE CHARGER IS AUTOMATICALLY RECOVERING AFTER ENCOUNTERING AN ERROR, but it doesn’t change status. 240 and 120 both provide the same result. Other 120 outlets provide the same result so I don’t think it is a ground issue (I only have one 240 to try). I have ensured Connectors are properly seated, and the plug is all the way into the outlet. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

Since this thread is getting such a heavy following ?? I thought I’d send an update.
The home charger is indeed a dud. My dealer ordered me a new one today after some escalation due to supply issues and it should be here in 10 days. That makes for a bit of a challenge for a bit, but the dealer (Woodridge Ford) has been very supportive and offered me their in house charger with free shuttle and a car if I want it.

Ps... totally worth it. Absolutely loving the car. Getting sideways in the snow is a regular occurrence (that’s a good thing up here in Canada where we love to drift in the winter). It is playful as promised.

PROBLEM RESOLVED: I had the same problem with the Amber light staying on, and it is caused by the power cord not being fully seated into the Mobile Charger. There's an installation sheet included with the Mobile Charger, and Step 2 shows how the power cord needs to be fully inserted and flush with the Mobile Charger housing. It requires some force, but once inserted, it stay in there.

Exactly! Must push the connector in VERY aggressively, so it’s flush.

Picked up our car last night, tried using the charger today blue light then steady red, internal fault. Didn’t try plugging into the car, just tried a few outlets and reinstalling the power cord a few times. Looks like I will need to have the dealer order a new one as a warranty claim. :(

interesting ...... I was getting the amber light on mine, when plugged into an older outlet in my garage. But when I tried a newer outlet on my deck, it showed a blue light. So, I'm thinking it may not like the ground in my garage.

It checks for ground for sure, it will also trip some very sensitive GFCI outlets.

That’s too bad. All three lights stayed on for me. In the end, it was a dead charger - not an issue with the power cord not correctly inserted. I was surprised how quickly they had a replacement out to me. The new one has been great, and I have the schedule charging to 80% nightly. Loving this car!!

Good to hear the replacement will not take long ? I took it to the dealer Saturday as we had to resign paperwork, but service wouldn't submit the warranty claim since they didn't have a service tech there that day that could handle it - pretty obvious with this since you don't need to test the car with it. Should be like replacing a defective laptop charger.

I have another charger I can use until the new one comes in, the Ford one is actually nicer (when it works) than the one that came with the Mercedes, Pacifica, or Prius.

I have one from another vehicle. Don't do Amazon so that would be a pass ?

hey Ford- if the included charger is defective the customer should be able to just walk into service at the dealer and request a new one under warranty. Stopped by my local dealer, told him the charger was faulty- red light after plugging into any wall outlet, he responded that I would have to make an appointment to bring the car in to have it looked at. ?
