Propulsion Sound Stopped Working!

It’s a minor glitch but I can’t turn on my propulsion sound anymore. Wondering if anyone else has this issue, or knows of a fix?

As soon as I turn it back on, it turns off after a second or so.

Happened to me also. Next time I got in the car it was back to normal. Hasn't happened again.

Just another of these gremlins that keep showing up.

Some of the reviewers had that issue with the preprod models; I guess they never fixed it. Are you in whisper mode? Whisper doesn't have a propulsion sound, so maybe it won't let you turn it on in whisper?

Mine was as turned off when I got it and that is the way it will stay.

It won’t turn on in any drive mode

Perhaps off topic, but I have to turn mine off it's so darn loud it overpowers everything, I have to turn the audio up to cover it up. Was yours that loud when it was working?

Mine was less "propulsion sound" and more "someone stole your catalytic converter sound."

The volume of it depends on what drive mode you're in. Its the loudest in unbridled. Engage its a lot quieter, and in whisper I don't think there's any, or if there is, its so low I can't hear it.

Ahh that'd explain it. I can't drive in anything but Unbridled and even then I feel it's still too slow and the steering too light, the other two modes are intolerable. Guess that means I'm keeping the noise off. Weird that you can't set the noise on your own and they mapped it to mode.

Just curious, why do you want a RWD over an AWD? This car is amazing with AWD.
