audio mute button?

yes, that's true. But it would be nice if a mute button was on steering wheel and the digital manual in vehicle describes a mute button on steering wheel. I don't see it, they must have changed their mind or I'm missing something or maybe it's just on european models. I don't know.

I've been looking for a mute button also. For now, I just power the radio off but it would be nice to just mute it.

The button you use to toggle the volume up and down on the steering wheel can also be pushed in to mute.

That's what I thought when I read manual, but mine does not do it. Put that on list of bugs to fix.

Does it do anything? Maybe when your on a phone call or something. Wierd to have the push button and it doesn't respond. Hope they can fix it to use for mute when radio is on. That is an easy feature to get used to.

The volume toggle push button doesn't say Mute on it. It says OK, and that's the button you push to acknowledge warning messages on the instrument cluster. It would be annoying if it muted the audio every time you hit the OK button. I don't think there's any way to mute the audio from the steering wheel, despite what it says in the owners manual. For now, just hit the power button in the middle of the dial or crank the volume down with the dial.

The same button can be dual or triple purpose like it is on my volvo. yes to messages, phone answer and hang up, and audio mute that operate independent and with no crossover depending on what is active. It's easy to program that.

This is my most-wanted feature after 1 week of driving; having next/previous on the wheel is way less useful to me than play/pause. It should be easy to add in an OTA and it should be a priorityn
