As you probably know though, the glass roof is an option on the GT.

Ford lists the glass roof as optional for the GT on their website. The GT PE also lists headroom that matches other models with the glass roof, implying the glass roof might be part of the PE package.

I agree with you, I’d rather the performance edition package not come locked-in with the panoramic roof, but it looks like it is a part of the package.

I’m hoping when it comes time to order GT’s that we’re able to mix and match different features. I love most of what the GTPE comes with but I’d rather not have the pano roof or the fixed head restraints and, I’m assuming, overly bolstered seats. I’ve got a ‘14 Focus ST with Recaro’s and they are an absolute nightmare of a seat for any trips over an hour...

Well crap. This is unexpected and not good. I think myself and others were wanting basically a GT Premium but it's looking like if we want a glass roof + Driver prep package then we have to go for the Performance Edition.

I'm concerned pricing is going to be a problem.

Ya that's a bummer but thanks for this actual evidence. I'm not hating the pano roof, but I wanted to go solid black for multiple reasons: (1) more insulation, (2) no chance of breaking the roof glass if it doesn't exist, (3) potential weigh savings.

Same here. I want the Performance Package and def want the 360 package, don't want the glass roof. :'( Next Month! I can't wait!!

I'm still hoping for GT with glass roof and driver assist hardware package, I just don't want the GTPE wheelset and I don't think I can afford Magneride.

Let's hope some of us don't get priced out of the car we want. *Fingers crossed*

Seems like the painted normal GT roof is an "O"ption from that chart. Also no indication that the GTP wheels are an option for the normal GT at all. And then they nickel and dime you on a couple packages as add ons, but whatever. I'd go for the PE, but I'm already suffering over the GT drop in range.
