Hard to find full specs on Pirelli's site. It doesn't look like the weight rating is adequate for our heavy ponies.
I've been poking around quite a bit on tires and I've seen the Nitto's come up but haven't really seen much about them compared to some of the more popular tires. In one of the discussions about switching to 235 width tires, I believe someone mentioned they had 235/50/19 Michelin CrossClimate2 tires installed.
That‘s true for any performance three season or summer tire but the Scorpion line is generally for trucks/SUVs so cold weather performance should be fine. We have Scorpions (a different version than in the OP) on my wife’s Lexus RX Hybrid and they have been quite good, including a trip to Oklahoma last year during ice storm conditions. I would definitely consider a set for the Mach E if looking for that style of tire, assuming proper rating of course.
My 90s Land Rover Range and Discovery both had Scorpions and I liked them (but a bit pricey back then).
On a 7" diameter wheel, you want to keep the tire size between 195 and 225. You may be able to go a smidge wider or narrower as each manufacturer's tire width is going to be slightly different. I really don't think anything wider than 235 is going to be doable on a 7" wheel.
the 50 or 55 is entirely up to your taste. That is just the aspect ratio that tells you how high the sidewall is going to be as compared to the tire width.
