I cant see much past a few paragraphs with this link.

"If you’re a Consumer Reports member, our initial assessment of the Mustang Mach-E is available to you here. We will buy our own Mach-E soon for a road test."

Drole....

I dont get this as the cheap teslas models are always black? but Ok

I dont and have been consistent on this from the get go as a lexus owner, not a tesla thing.

Its 2 1000 mile trips a month and city the rest.
The ones I posted on post 1 I drive around LA a bit when Im there.
Cant depend on a destination charger, Sometimes I get them, when I do they are at best a 110 cord.

Perhaps for someone who does it once or twice a year it is.

Ive done it several times a month for 10 years now.
If you’ve been driving 900 miles roundtrip to LA several times a month for a decade, you’ve got bigger problems than choosing the MY over the MME.

Noir true. Tesla shifted to only the white being available at the advertised price.
Noir true - I like how you did that.
Did the teslacians favorite color change from Black to white?

Pandemic has been with us for a year not a decade.
The decade prior was working at the same company as a VP sales but living on the other end of the trip.

Pretty common for a guy to fly around a bit in my business.

" Be the CEO they said" "It'll be great they said" - probably wouldnt have been without covid.
Cool gig for sure - crappy timing.

Id rather spend a day in a car than 3/4 of a day running around airports and flying - no contest, I come and go at will and can talk to people on the phone 99% of the trip.

Do not forget buggy, laggy and slow infotainment in mache :)
Doenst seem so bad when I see it online but Id guess this is a software maturity things and as long as its OTA they'll get that tuned.

Unless its an actual hardware problem, but Id guess not.

Do you have any comparison vids you can link to?
That's your job, not his. They're out there. Numerous people have provided you with names. Use Google. Cripes, use Bing, or even (gasp!) Yahoo.
With business interests, clients, and rental property in the LA area commutes from Nor Cal are in my future a long time.
There is an abundance of EA chargers on the various routes from NorCal to the Southland. You'll also avoid the massive backups waiting for a spot to open at the Supercharger stations at Harris Ranch and the Madonna Inn.
OMG this thread is 11 pages long.
Trolls do that. They have the ability to take on the form of a forum member through the use of potions. Does anyone have a level 8 fire or acid spell handy?

Nope. White's been standard for literally ages. Want it in a color other than white? That'll be an extra $1000 dollars. What? You want red? $2000 more.

Ford, incidentally, has 6 colors available on the non-GT models. Four of those colors have no upcharge. What? You want it in Red? That'll be an extra $400. What? You want it in Star White? $600 more.

I actually read through this entire thread. I must be a sociopath.

But to the OP, @Davegvg , you seem to be experienced in the workings of a typical car forum. To that end, I am surprised you haven't also realized that there's such a thing as confirmation bias and selection bias, both of which have always been heavily and persistently present on internet car forums since the early days of the internet.

What I'm getting at here is that --
1. You're forgetting that the vast majority of people who have no problems at all, aren't posting about their (boring) lack of problems, and the ones that do, don't get much attention.
2. When you're subconsciously looking for there to be a problem (such as with the Mach-E), you'll select and absorb information that supports that hypothesis.

Like some others in this thread, I, too, have a Mach-E, and I've had absolutely zero issues with it since I got it in March. It's far and away the best car I've ever owned.
