As I recall, the Ford website doesn’t shift your car to produced until it’s actually slated for shipping. By that system I had a 1 month build time. ;)

Check one of the trackers here for an actual completion date or check on the most recent electronic version of the window sticker. Or ask your dealer for the vehicle visibility report. My bet is your car was waiting to catch a train and not slow poking its way through the factory.
Where on the window sticker does it show the build completion date? I couldn't find it. I do have a random date at the bottom, but it's not the build date. This date is about 4 weeks after the build was completed.

Is this maybe just the date the window sticker was downloaded?

Actually a real update for me on palsapp this morning. Have a destination and also the Norfolk Southern Rail which I believe is an all electric engine train as a bonus. Wish the destination said Albany, NY however but any update is happily received

Several people on this thread have "built" dates a few days after mine, but have ETAs two weeks earlier. I'd have to say I'm feeling a bit of envy over that. Particularly, since I'm considered about how incentives may change after July 6.

But to get back to the original topic of this post, it's now a few days later and we've still only had three people post about having their delivery delayed until October. I'm really starting to think that's some kind of data glitch. Hoping those folks are getting some resolution.

I may be overly optimistic, but I don't think Ford will change the MME incentives. It doesn't make sense to risk alienating that many buyers/potential buyers.

ANy update on yours? Mind still shows in Production and build week 05/30.
My dealership says it should be built by 6/5. I have no specific information as far as where on the line it might be. I'll remain hopeful for a summer delivery.??

And 48 hrs later a new update from Ford. To get back the the OP's concern. I believe his and the few others are an aberration. At least that's my hope. Once again, believe it when I'm behind the wheel.

Looking forward to seeing those lights lit up! (Built... Shipped)?

If it's anything like mine; things seem to get "cooking" a few days after that build date. Good luck and hope we all get our MME's this summer.

Probably the chip shortage is hitting Mach-es too. If it was Tesla, it would give you the car without the autopilot, cruise control or lumbar support you paid for to work around the missing chips.
Ford isn't that smart.
I'm sad for all of you. I know what it's like to be promised a delivery date and have it move out via an email. Happened to me twice with my 2018 Model 3 (Dec 2017 -> May 2018).

To add some details...

Tesla is raising prices and switching chipsets and porting their firmware to those chipsets that are available to minimize the impact. It's still hurting them too along with other parts shortages, and still production continues.

And yes, the passenger lumbar support was removed. Tesla claims it's because not many people use the lumbar support on the passenger side, but that just looks bad on their part. It's got to be a result of less lumbar units being available.

As for the removal of radar, I'm glad. It causes more problems than it solves. In my personal experience, radar on my Model 3 and Y leads to phantom braking issues, as well as disabling autopilot as soon as enough snow collects on the nose. It won't be long until the reduction in features returns for those cars without radar. We went through the same thing when Tesla abandoned the MobileEye version of Autopilot back in 2018. Months later, we had more capability than before the switch.

My mach e was built on 4/22, shipped on 4/26 and was estimated to be delivered between 5/30-6/5

I just got an email:

Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of May 30, 2021 and June 5, 2021 has been updated to between October 25, 2021 and October 31, 2021.

Seriously? Did anyone get a similar email?
How would it take 6 months to just ship and deliver an already build car?? Does this mean there is an issue with the car?
I don't think I gonna keep waiting if it really will take that long

Update:
My dealer told me the delay is because of the chip shortage

I got a similar e-mail. Mine was built in the middle of May and was supposed to be delivered 6/24-6/30. Then got the e-mail about 10/24-10/30.

Called dealer. They said likely chip shortage. And that many cars are built and just waiting for chips... I hope they get a good load of chips in soon.

This is now the fourth case of this on this thread.

It's so inconsistent that I can't understand why it's affecting only sporadic orders. If it really really was a chip issue, you would think it would me more widespread.

As I mentioned before - the dates OP mentioned above are exactly my dates - built 04/22, shipped 04/26 and ETA was 05/30-06/05. Vehicle was delivered yesterday and I bought it today - no display whine, no wind noise, PAAK works like a charm, the only "problem" I found out at home - they put 46 psi into all the tires (instead of 39 recommended) and I was feeling a little "bumpy" during the test drive, but it is gone now. Ford Options X-Pricing 48 months @2.25% - took about hour and hour and half. Hope to enjoy for years to come. And hope OP gets his vehicle on time too.
