I ended up here after pre-ordering a Tesla Model Y AWD LR. 0-60 4.8 seconds. Drove the car and loved it. But I'm extremely picky about by vehicles and I knew that the fit and finish issues Tesla is currently experiencing would drive me nuts.
That said, if the Model Y 75KW battery gives that kind of performance, I don't see any reason why the Mach E LR 98.8kw battery would not allow for at least a 5.0 second 0-60.
Does anyone else find it odd that on order day, we still have no idea what the performance characteristics of the Mach E are? I'm hoping Ford is holding an Ace in their sleeve and the MachE will be comparable to Tesla's performance stats. I really hope this car can compete performance wise with Telsa outside of ordering a GT.
Thoughts?
