Same here. Used the same card that was used to place the reservation but it wasn't until I switched to a Visa that it worked. No messages, just getting stuck in a loop.
I’ve read about problems when using Amex or Discover cards. Once people switched to a Visa it was all good.

FordPass is an account you set up with the app on your phone for all of your Ford vehicles. You set up an account and put in your VIN numbers, and you can track your cars, etc. and my dad was a Ford retiree! I’m still loyal to the brand. Want to add you can also set up a FordPass account online with a computer. No need to use a phone and app.
Thanks John I do have an account but it still says I don't have a reservation I'll be calling the dealer and Fords on Monday

Several months ago I had the same problem and I had to contact Ford. I don’t know what the issue was, but somehow they fixed it so it would show up in my account. Good luck!

Not necessarily. These are in the Order FAQ:

Your order does not guarantee a set-price for the vehicle.

The Dealer’s final selling price may be subject to change. All current available incentives (including AXZD-Plans pricing) and fees will be applied at purchase. See your Dealer for details.
So does this mean ADM could be added later?? If so, that could hand leverage right back to the dealers.

If it's possible that buyers commit to a dealership now based on what these order pages say, but that a dealer can then add ADM out of nowhere at the time of delivery/purchase finalization, and the only recourse for the buyer at that point is to walk away from the deal, that presumably means the dealership gets to keep the car to sell. Which then gives them the leverage to sell it for market price.

If that's true, then they could just play bait&switch with reservation holders to be able to control the car themselves.

Hope that's not true, but this "Your order does not guarantee a set-price for the vehicle" sounds like a loophole.

My card was VISA and I still had that problem. I suspect that Ford might be sensitive to scenarios where the dealer deposit and reservation deposit appear on the same statement and thus could be construed as a transfer of customer funds to the actual purchase of the vehicle. Which might be a problem with some state laws. Forcing the buyer to a different card or forcing the dealer to initiate the transaction probably shelters Ford from any legal situation.

Just a guess though...

So if my reservation can be converted up until December, but order priority still goes off reservation time stamp, how does that work if I convert reservation to order in October but someone with later time stamp than me converts today?

basically, how long can I leave converting to an order before it Will start to delay my delivery?
Most likely.....
Reservation number determines sequencing. So when production starts then the orders in the system at that point will be sequenced by reservation number and scheduled for assembly. Likely in batches.

Orders placed in October would be sequenced in a subsequent batch. Dovetailed in appropriate place with orders that haven't been released yet.

Just speculation though but based on how I understand most vehicle manufacturing processes have functioned for the last several decades.

Yes, but it’s reservation time stamp not reservation number that determines production priority.

I had a chat with the local Ford Fleet Manager who called me after I placed my order. His dealership has already had 18 orders submitted. This car is looking to be huge success for Ford.
25 reservations at mine!

So am I understanding that people have had their orders confirmed by their Dealership? If so I'm going to push for confirmation to get that price set in stone.
Yes, I emailed the Mach E specialist at Koons Silver Spring after I had placed the order. He quickly went in and accepted it.

San Diego County here - After placing the order, I exchanged multiple emails with the dealership regarding confirmation of no ADM and X-plan pricing - even after several dozen emails - their manager has not accepted the order yet - I will likely call the helpline on monday and see if it is possible to change the dealer at this point.

I Just talked to my Dealer, Turtle-Click Ford at Southern California. They told me they will not offer x-plan pricing. I Will have to wait until Monday to call Ford to change my dealer before I convert to order.

Talk to the internet sales manager. I have confirmation from them that they're going to accept X plan in writing.

Are they different things? Was thinking the reservations numbers are generated sequentially so would function same as time stamp......correct?

No, not quite. Multiple series of reservations numbers were being issued simultaneously. For example, the night of the reveal 4000, 5000, and 6000, and maybe 7000-series numbers were being issued simultaneously.
