Just curious as to status of anyone's order for a California Rt 1 package. I put in my order on April 23, 2021 and got confirmation of the order being accepted by my local dealership, but then crickets. It has only been about 10 weeks, so maybe I am just impatient. But it also could be that the CA Rt 1 uses the extended range battery - I have seen many others posting that the ER Battery seems to delay the other models as well. I'd like to hear from anyone with a similar order date about any production date notifications.
Ford is currently scheduling production for vehicles ordered in March. You got at least another month or so.

Nice! That tracks - I got mine exactly a week ago for my 7/4 build week.

Still no movement yet on the car being built. I assume they are assembling it as we speak, but as far as I know, there's no way to know for sure when it starts down the line. I'm hoping to see an update / get an email by end of week.

To all those with June/July build dates that haven't received any "Built" or "Shipped" dates. I just spoke with a Ford representative about my vehicle (In Production 6/14/21) and they shared that the MX assembly plant is currently "on hold" for releasing MMEs. They weren't able to give an estimate for when that hold would be lifted. So my vehicle is sitting somewhere at the plant still and I anticipate many others' vehicles are as well (doesn't bode well for my ETA delivery of 8/6). My assumption is that there are indeed component shortages and only a lucky few are getting out.

For clarity, my MME order is for a Premium, Extended Battery, AWD model.

Wow that is very unfortunate to hear. Just as the logistics bottleneck shows signs of being alleviated, the component shortage might be threatening to grind things to a halt. Let's hope that, if it is indeed a lack of microchips or other parts, they are able to reroute supply from elsewhere.

Or....we can hope standard Mach-E's are on hold so they can bust out some GT's? :)

Do you still have an ETA in the tracker? The tracker still shows my Production Date as June 26, but my ETA date of 8/17 and then 10/31 was then reset to N/A.

That could be, especially if there was some additional tooling or other setup necessary to begin regular production of the new model. You'd hope that was all done in advance without disrupting the rest of the line, and we know from the aerial photo that the they've been building GTs in some capacity since before this week. But perhaps they needed to pause to get full volume GT production underway.

@Kamuelaflyer

Closer to that date, you’ll also get a beginning of build date. The car will finish a week or so after that date.
Forgive me for quoting a post from another thread, but I didn't want to bump it just to ask about this one point. I haven't seen discussion of this "beginning of build date". My understanding from reading through posts about the various order trackers is that the "Production Date" is the date the vehicle finishes assembly, not the date it begins assembly. So where do I find this begin date? Is it only available in the "Vehicle Visibility" report that can only be requested from my dealership?

Interesting! I haven't seen nor heard of this aeriel photo, but I'd love to! :)

I did not realize that! I thought it was when production started too, so that would be awesome if it is almost done now! :)

Yes I still have a delivery ETA of 8/6 which has not changed for me. Just no "Built" or "Shipped" dates.

In the Ford Order tracker (https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/status) there is a "In Production" date which is the day or more broadly the week the vehicle started being built. Once it is finished you will get a "Built" date and then once it is shipped from the plant, you will get a "Shipped" date. The order reservation tracker in your Ford Account should also show these dates on the left side of the screen when available.

Thanks. I was aware of that particular tracker and that particular state/step (which my vehicle has been in since last Wednesday). However, it was not clear that the date that gets shown there reflects the start of the assembly process. With so many different trackers in play and so many different discussion threads, it's difficult to keep track (ha!) of all the information. But what I had understood (and was apparently mistaken about) was that the date for that step would be filled in once the vehicle ends production, not begins production. However, I admit that I could not resolve that understanding with the fact that the very next step is "Built" which would seem to cover that same date. Maybe what was actually being communicated in posts I read is that, while the "In Production" date indeed reflects the date assembly started, it may not actually appear in the tracker until later. That is to say, perhaps the date may be filled in later, retroactively? I hope that is the case because, as I say, my Mach-E has been "In Production" since last week, but at this point no date has been reported yet. I'd like to believe there's a chance the actual assembly process did already commence, but the tracker simply lags a bit.

Thanks, for confirming that. Those I think I was pretty clear on, but it's good to know.

I hope so, yes. I haven't referred to that very often since my order moved into a state where the other trackers have information on my VIN. They are more convenient since they do not require me to log into my Ford account. Of course, this also means they offer less privacy (but that's another discussion).

That's essentially what I'm assuming as well. Here in the forums, most people (with build weeks in May and early June) were reporting that they were getting "Built" dates (meaning completed production) and "Shipped" dates the same week as or week after the "In Production" date. Since that doesn't seem to be happening for many of the June/July build week orders, I think the vehicle builds are starting on schedule but they are still waiting to be completed (either due to plant issues or component availability).
