So far as I can tell, I'm one "bug fix" update number 3, no Power Up update yet.
Woah - there was a third OTA bug fix update? When did you get that? I didn’t see a thread on that.

I still think it would be useful to have a running thread of the latest bezel diagnostic versions so we all know what we are running and what’s the latest. Right now, I can’t figure anything out.

It just popped up in my FordPass app last night. This is the third one I've received so far.

Could this be the promised Q2 update fixing the settings bugs?! Please check and see if you can keep alarm motion sensors off after restarting the car.

I don't believe it was. Settings are the same as always (ambient light selection still doesn't stick).

I'm thinking it may be a display issue in the FordPass app (since they seem to be having other FordPass related issues right now). The car hasn't given me a new OTA successful notice inside Sync4A.

I have little faith in OTA updates, our Fusion Energi never got one in 3 years, although I downloaded several Sync and Nav updates to a thumb drive for it. We'll see.
Those thumb drives are now OTA?
It sure would be a lot less confusing if Ford would name the updates. I’m aware of two “bug fix” OTA updates plus the recent “Power Up” update. Is there another?
Not here only 2 also. But who knows I am find it hard to follow the logic once in awhile. Possible not in the same build date?

Agree or ford start using the sync build/revision for something useful. If that was happening they could be cross referenced with the diag screen. Why does FP change numbers when it is upgraded/changed. Beyond weird for me. Make the thread PM me and I will screen cap what I have.

When we bought our 2018 Fusion Energi, Sync was supposed to be updateable via WiFi. In 3 years of ownership, not one update was ever discovered. Great WiFi connection. I would force it to scan for an update, and it would not find one. Then go in the house, and log into Ford, and there's an update...

So while these updates are for the car's software and not Sync, I have little faith in Ford's ability to do an OTA update until I actually see it. Waiting for ours right now.

There was a bug with Sync that when connected to wifi, the system would sometimes lock up completely when checking for updates. Lots of people with unresponsive screens, or it would just go blue and crash.

The fix for a long time was to just never connect it to wifi. They eventually got that fixed, but I also never got an update over wifi with my other cars.

I picked my MME up about a month ago. How do you accept an update? I have not received any notices that I am aware of.

Bump. Please chime in to help me verify. So far, there have been three OTA updates for sure, possibly four (and I’m not including the early access program “Intelligent Charging” update)…..
  1. First update started rolling out around March 18. It included “refinements, bug fixes.”
  2. Second update started rolling out around April 23. It included “refinements, bug fixes.” No way to distinguish from the first OTA update but it was definitely a second one.
  3. Third update started rolling out around June 28. This is the one called FordPower-Up 1.4.0. It’s for the eventual addition of SecuriAlert to FordPass.
  4. So far, only @methorian has claimed to have received a “third” OTA update - not the PowerUp one above. Nobody started a thread on that one, and nobody else has confirmed this.
A Ford CSR sent me an email this morning asking if I had “received the update that came out at the end of the month.” I told him I haven’t received any updates in over a month. I asked what update he is referring to and what it is supposed to fix. Have not heard back yet.

I am hoping that “Ford Power-up x.x.x” is the new naming convention for OTAs because that will make it much easier to track. Right now I feel like Dirty Harry….

Pretty sure the Ford power up 1.4.0 is the same as the third ota. Power up is the name that Ford is going with. I got it this morning.
