If that's including the 1ft rollout then it's right on the money. For the record I do think that in the 'right' conditions it'll do the claimed 0-60. I just think Ford is giving numbers that require the almost perfect scenario, where other car manufacturers may dial it down a little bit for the 'normal' driving scenarios.

If someone can go hire a reliable 16 year old that just got a license and weighs like 120lbs, find some perfect tarmac, 75 degree dry mountain weather, waterfalls to the left and right, 6:17pm, I bet this thing would do 3.5 seconds all day long.
Yep. And yet, all of the 3.5 butt hurt. Another thing, there are multiple S550 GT-500 owners here who know the GTPE and 3.7s has their azz on the street to 60 because of traction issues. Now, dragstrip that’s a whole other ball game.

You guarantee it? How many M3Ps and MYPs has it happened to so far?

Wrong, that's the bumper to bumper. Maybe you should check again.

How many miles have you put on one? What tests have you seen confirming the 0-60 time of 3.5?
Theo1000 waltzes in here 45 pages deep, claims he read all the posts, says no one mentioned battery throttling, claims the GTPE is a 3.5s 0-60, and claims he hasn’t seen “50-70 measured in other EVs” which is what the ENTIRE GD THREAD is about.

A guy in my area has a dragy and only did 1 run but he got 3.7 on engaged. I think he said 80% soc. Gtpe
And what happened after 60?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The lack of information out here is painful!

This is almost as bad as when the OP posted a 6 second video and a pic at the track with no additional info!

GD, guys, you haven’t figured it out yet?

After 60mph an Accord 2.0T blasted past like Rodan on a watertower full of RedBull. Turbos whistling, bypass valves whooshing, and some dude from Nevada with a Go-Pro in the passenger seat. ?

Still waiting on the roll races videos @Frankie

First video where I've seen the actual full 2 second acceleration break down. I'm sure it's fast AF without the full 2 second launch, but can you imagine sitting at a light like HOLD ON IT'S PREPPING THE LAUNCH. Or bring your friend out from the party and be like Bro check this thing out, ok wait sit there for like 10 minutes and then just you wait and see.

Oh no! But what about that guy who panic canceled and bought a Model X Plaid at twice the price?

I dunno. It’s so ridiculously fast….. as a passenger I would be willing to wait.

Although I do get the feeling it would be more fun to borrow than own. Kinda like a jet ski. After a few runs it’s only fun to drive if you’re being very very dangerous.

I guess I'm just making fun of the whole thing. You have a car that can go 0-60, given that you have an open road that you can sit on for 10 minutes while it 'gets ready'. Like that's not a real world 2 second car (it wasn't even 2 seconds in the video either), that's a car you have to essentially go to some dead back road at 2am or to the drag strip to really get the full speed.

I get it, it's fast, but it's a party trick. Like you said, it's a car you rent for a weekend, feel what a 2 second run feels like, give the car back, and drive away in your more realistic, more comfortable, nicer interior, MME GT, Taycan, Audi RS GT, or whatever else.

Was gonna post the same thing. Just saw the Edmunds video myself. Funny thing, just like fake FSD, no 200mph for the Plaid, only 163mph haha. So my sorry slow POS SS can put 14mph on a $135K Plaid. Ok, who’s up for some 160 rolls? ??‍♂
