Since another threads seems fixated on the 1/4 performance of the GTPE, I thought I would start one for the range of the GT models. ( I realize this model is mostly about speed but I am interested in both speed and range and my GTPE will come later this Fall)

What are the new owners seeing for range of the GT and the GTPE? What are the miles/kwatts you are seeing?

GT is advertised at 270 and the GTPE 260.

update: sorry just realized I misnamed this thread. I really was wanting to know the range of either that owners are seeing, not versus. Thread title renamed.

Guys, the only reason this thread was needed was to get out of your peeing contest over in the 0-60 thread. Please keep your kids games else where.

Way, way, way less range than an Accord 2.0T.
A better comparison will be miles per dollar of energy - MME vs Accord. Or you can do 0 to 60 times. Or market desirability. Or 5-year maintenance costs. Or fun. You get the idea.

Just completed a 111 mile cruise through hilly countryside in GTPE. 40-50 mph average. 111 miles of driving, used 79 miles of range. I was impressed.
When you say 79 miles of range used… what does that mean? How much battery did you use? Either in Kwh or percentage of charge.

Kwatts/mile?
Unless there was a significant difference, I doubt you’ll be able to see a trend between the two. They’re like 3%
different in range. (The GT and GTPE

Different drivers, different cities, different climates and the SAME models will show more than a 3% variance.

Heck, even the same driver, same city, same car will have more than a 3% change from charge to charge depending on where and how they drive.

That and all the threads about how inaccurate the GOM (guess a meter) is mean that it’s gonna be hard to get reliable data.

I must have been tired when I started this thread. I was really wanting to know what owners are seeing in either not versus. I renamed the thread to correct that.

Both GT trims are quite new, it'll be a while before people have a good handle on their average mile/kWh or real range.

Here is some info from the facebook group. (Not me)

"I know I haven't had my car for very long yet, but for the record, when I'm just driving "normally," I'm seeing about 3.4-3.9 miles per kWh. This is looking promising for a GTPE (I've been even higher than that, and definitely have been lower)! Obviously I am really interested in what this turns out to be in a few weeks."
