It's not 50, more like 70 plus before it pulls power.
Nah. Not from my experience comparing it to a Model Y Performance. Even from a 50 roll the GT feels sluggish compared to a MYP.

Also car and drivers experience testing. They're basically the same 30-50 but the MYP is nearly half a second quicker 50-70.

Tesla MYPs start at 64k.
Good point. Though I could counter with the $7500 tax liability rebate which brought my "price" to $63k ;). Plus BlueCruise included for 3 years with that price, which is worth at least another $10k. Just kidding, I know it's not anywhere close to FSD experience, but good enough for the 1 time a week I actually use it.

What you’re sensing at 50 mph vs a Y performance is the extra weight of the Mach E coupled with being past our 634 lb ft of peak tq.

The only reason we beat them to 40 mph is the extra tq, and from 40-70 our tq is more similar to the Y, but we weigh more.

Then past 70…… that’s when our 5 seconds is up.

I was talking from a dead stop. It doesn't pull power until after 70.

You guys can argue why it's so much slower 50-70, I don't really care about the why, just that it is, and it sucks.

The only reason anyone is arguing it is that YOU brought it up suggesting the cap happened at 50 mph. ?

Lol, okay, you win, maybe the reason that the Mach isn't faster 50-70 than the Volvo XC40 isn't because its started pulling power but because it never had the power to begin with.

Happy?

Personally, I think its because it has started pulling power.

You kind of expect to lose to Tesla I guess. Not really any different than when the Mustang was getting its ass kicked by LT1s and LS1s. It'd be nice if it was a little closer I guess.

But losing a roll race to a Volvo that costs 15 grand less? That stings.

Stop making up stories. GTPE is 2 seconds from 50-70, XC40 is 2.2. Y performance is 1.7.

But hey….. whatever keeps you up at night…… It’s like you try so hard to find reasons to hate the car that you make stuff up. Just sell it already!

You're the guy that made up stories that I could sell the car for a profit, right? And then I proved you wrong by posting the certified offers I got for it, right?

You know running an actual 50-70 test isn't inherently the same as excising the 50-70 portion of a 1/4 mile run, right? Especially in a car like the Mustang that does so much to manipulate power delivery? So it's actually you that's making stuff up?

2.2 vs 2.2 so feel free to apologize:

It's so sad how much dishonesty is on the site, trying to defend the poor performance of this Mustang. Just be honest. Right from the start with that guys very first 1/4 mile run you people were just making EVERY single excuse you could think of. He lifted. He only had 75% SoC. He's fat. He had it in the wrong drive mode. His car is defective. And on and on and on. JUST BE HONEST.

The Mach-E GT Performance Edition will lose a roll race to a Volvo XC40. That is honest, because it's a fact. Trap speeds don't lie, and the Mustangs is pathetic.

It’s like you enjoy hiding under a rock.

The forum is littered with stories of people selling their GT and GTPE for a profit or getting offers above what they paid.

You take a site unseen offer from a website as “proof” you can’t?

Hmm…… ok. ?

I could have sold my GT for a $3500 net profit (factoring in tax credits) a couple of months after taking delivery. Best offer was from Carvana. I chose not to.

The post where the guy would have lost 3,000 dollars AFTER getting X plan and having a very low state tax rate? Lmao, more dishonesty from you. Seriously, why can't you be honest?

"There's loads of people selling their GT for a profit"

*posts guy that would have lost thousands of dollars despite getting a better out the door price than practically anyone else on the forum*
