GT Mach-E ordering starts next week - 4/28! Who's ordering?

Congrats, but now I really wonder what happened to all the prior builds that are still sitting idle. Apparently pre-order and then actual order dates are not factors.

I couldn't agree more. I know I read somewhere that it could depend on the color/type associated with the car, because they produce X number of vehicles of each. So possibly the Iconic Silver GT is not as common, so it got pushed through? But that's just a hunch from reading other posts... Seems like they would put the "chips" in the ones sitting idle, and not a newly built one. I just wanted to pass along my info so others could have it to compare to. When I placed the order the dealer thought November, so end of October is pretty close. I'm just hopeful it's really on a train someplace and headed my way!

Good thing that there isn't a comparable product to buy or I'd be long gone. Not happy about the way Ford has communicated during the chip shortage. They could have at least updated my unrealistic ETA. That said, probably no different than any other brand. At this point I can only hope that the car delivers before 12/31, so I can take the tax credit this tax season. It's likely going to be close in all reality, unless things take a turn for the worse. uggh

I know what you mean. Since I ordered from a Dealer, I basically got zero info from Ford other than the 6-week Chip Shortage email. Then I got an email it was built and then shipped. But to be honest I didn't believe it at first because of how many people here are still waiting -- with order dates/build weeks that were way before mine. I only got my production week because I bugged the dealer to get more information every 2-3 weeks. And then they got me the window sticker/VIN after that. Going to ping them again now that it's shipped...maybe they can track it better than our crappy tools (OVISS and Palsapp) that we have.

Did yours go by truck from KC to MI? I had the same thing happen in Palsapp and I am in Indiana. Dispatched yesterday.

Got a really great dealer contact who has offered to drive it to Chicago for me, but this week has some conflicts. Likely going to get it shipped back this way to me. Got X-Plan pricing, so will more than offset that expense, and i'll remain married as result

Yea it was carrier dispatched 9/13 morning, and driver called to confirm late night delivery tonight. so ~2days from KC great Detroit area, hopefully yours is on the same carrier and gets dropped off on the way: )

For those chip hold folks needing glimmers of hope...

I got word this AM my GTPE finally departed KC (Where it has sat since 8/13). Palsapp also confirmed "Dispatched 9/13" and was assigned a trip ID ?

Probably just the lighting, but the windows look heavily tinted already.

Also, my GT arrived at my dealer (MI) late yesterday too. Must have been several trucks that got dispatched from KC on Monday
