The clip posted by @Gullwingdmc is pretty impressive, certainly handling congestion and curves just fine. A much better showing than the Munro video.

But its not the MME. No one is questioning BC, other cars do it fine. The question is how the MME is going to handle BC, and from the data we have its awful.

I thought the GT trims had BC enabled at purchase, why haven't we seen anyone posting an actual MME using BC.

Probably to busy racing their vehicles? Although some people have posted short videos in the forum.

You have a sample size of 2: 1 "awful" clip that clearly includes grandpa disengaging it in one instance, and a "good" clip from an F-150. Both are also edits of a longer drive, and thus could intentionally skew in either direction.

I'd like to see more than 2 short samples, and indeed would love for some of the GT owners to take the time to record their experiences with BC. I suspect that they have other things they would rather be doing, so that's why we have very little firsthand owner's reports.

Hopefully this thread encourages those owners to post.

Yep, post em up. And for those that know: Are the bold red highways we see on Ford navigation map the designated hands free highways?

Is it bad I got the 360 camera just because I wanted to have it? I'm not even that interested in BC.

Unless you are lucky enough to have someone test and shoot video on roads that you will travel it's pretty pointless. I could care less how well it works on some highway in MI. I am much more interested in a searchable map of highways it is supposed to work on.

+1 Tim. Longer raw data will be nice, and even nicer will be actually getting it in my car.

I will say this, though...like all of us, I'm sure, I've tested lane centering + Intelligent cruise down some roads with my hands hovering over, but not on, the wheel to see how much of a curve it would take at speed on its own. I was surprisingly impressed. At 70 MPH, it took curves in the highway that were even marked with >>> >>> curve warning signs. I certainly don't think it will be to the level of what Tesla's FSD can handle, but for its intended purpose -- reducing fatigue and increasing convenience while traveling on long, major roads -- all signs point to it being great to me.

In short, I'd MUCH rather it handle its intended use cases well and not attempt to handle the more outside/fringe use cases than to say it can handle ALL use cases and then fail miserably on the outside ones (stopped fire trucks, sharp S-curves, jutting-out Jersey walls, etc.).

Here’s a video on Bluecruise I made today. Not the best video but hopefully it gives some insight. It is literally lane centering that allows you to remove your hands on the easy parts. This doesn’t show everything but most of it. To be honest it worked pretty well most of the time but decided to not behave much during this video.

Looks good, dunno if it’s $600 bucks up front good though.
