Yes to tailgating, its great. Cant answer the battery question since we didnt use it while tailgating.

True, but one could get a pretty good sized portable refrigerator up there...since it wont fit between the seats.

Hi everyone. Just curious if anyone has tried tailgating, drive-in-movies, or modest camping w/ their MME? Does the car shut off power like always, or can we tap into the batteries and keep things like radio & lights going well after our ICE cars force you to turn off?

leave the MME 'on', and turn the 'auto timeout' setting off.... it will stay on all night.... but be aware that if you open/shut doors, it will beep at you to remind you the car is on.

its great to run a little refrigerator, or add an inverter and an inductive cooktop, and you can COOK without flames!
