Well more to be grumpy about! I foolishly invest in Ford and I get regular updates on "Ford News" through my broker and it looks like Ford is shutting down the Maverick plant in Mexico for a week starting Monday
Quoted message;
Ford to suspend production at Mexican plant due to shortages - union
BY Reuters
— 6:15 PM ET 10/28/2021

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - U.S. automaker Ford Motor Co. (F) will suspend production at its Hermosillo factory in northern Mexico from November 1-5 due to material shortages, according to a union statement issued on Thursday.
<End Quoted Text>

Hopefully that wont lead to shortages at the Mach-E plant

I got 12/13/21. It was 11/15/21. Then 11/22/21. WTH are they doing ???????
What really irks me about it is their inability to send me any other emails in the process, then sending one confirming the earlier production date, then postponing it the next day. It’s maddening.

OT but I’m sitting in the waiting area for what is hopefully my last oil change ever.

Oh, and since we’re rollin’ COVID, I’m due for my booster in December.
Well, if you ever exceed 200K miles on your MME you will need your transaxle oil changed. ??

I got my COVID booster yesterday and today it has kicked my butt. On the plus side, it's kept me from obsessing over my car, so there's that
Was it worse than the previous shot? Or do they start getting a little bit easier as you get used to them?

I was hoping the boosters would not kick so hard.

Worse for me. The first two of Pfizer didn’t do anything to me. I boosted with Moderna and it was pretty bad. I was fine by about 8 o clock last night though

They do say it's better to boost with the one you haven't had before. I had Pfizer to start with too. Not looking forward to getting a booster of Moderna whenever I'm eligible.

Woke up this morning to an email from fort saying my car has been shipped.

I can only pray that my “shipped” experience goes smooth. I hope I don’t fall into a black hole
Congrats on getting it shipped!

Glad that they emailed you. I found out that my order was shipped when I was obsessively checking seg.fyi and never got an email about it being shipped.

About the same for me. On all 3 shots I only had a sore arm. Maybe now that I've torn that rotator cuff again, I didn't notice the shot issue. A bit of lower energy, but no major effects for me. I got Pfizer for all 3 shots.

TBH their coms haven’t been great. But good enough (in my experience).
Email to confirm every stage, though the contents of the email (ie scheduled build date) was wrong, but the email DID preceded the next email of “built”. And then I got a shipped email.

Would have liked to have had more emails early on letting me know of delays and why etc. but I knew ford doesn’t do that so I just waited it out like a good pleb.

You got a "shipped" email? I got nuttin' on that front. The only email that I got that was specific to my order was the "built" email (I did get an email confirming my reservation, but that was pre-order so it doesn't count). Prior to that I got the generic "chip shortage" email and a generic email assuring me that people with reservations would be prioritized above non-reservations (if you believe that, I have a bridge near here and some swamp land in Florida I can sell you).

I think Ford just thinks we're mushrooms. I'm not a mushroom! I'm a Poodle! ?
