So, no charging improvements?
Charging update is in the CSP dealer update that you have to schedule and your vehicle has to have been built June or before, I'm guessing it will eventually come over the air though?

I noticed the 2.3.0 update queued up over the weekend, but I just had the car on the charger and did not drive anywhere. My 1.7.1 failed although it seemed like I got everything except update notice. I recently got 2.1.0. I also applied the CSP 21P22 update a couple of months ago.

After I got to work this morning and settled down with coffee, I noticed the update successful message in FordPass on the phone. It looks like it downloaded during the hour drive to work and updated a short period after I turned the car off. I am planning on breaking out FDRS tonight and seeing what got updated.

We know you’re busy, so this feature will allow you to schedule and stagger your updates for the days and times that work best for you. Our latest Update Now function lets you install an update as soon as it’s ready for your vehicle, instead of having to wait for your scheduled time. This will help you get the updates faster and allow you a lot more flexibility.\n\nEver wanted to talk to your vehicle? Well, now you can with your own Ford Assistant. Just say, ā€œOK, Fordā€ to wake up your assistant and ask questions like ā€œHow does my cruise control work?ā€ or ā€œWhen does my warranty expire?ā€.\n\nTaking the place of Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Speed Sign Recognition has been added to the SYNCĀ® Driver Assistance menu. You can now find it on your in-vehicle screen under Adaptive Cruise Control.\n\nIf you ever want to stimulate your mind while parked, we’ve added a couple of puzzle games called Blocks & Tiles, which can be found on your in-vehicle screen. The Tiles puzzle will challenge you to match colors and shapes, while the goal of Blocks is to match shaped blocks. \n\nSo yeah, there’s a lot of cool stuff going on. \n\nOngoing updates like this help you enjoy the best possible version of your Mustang Mach-E vehicle. Keep in mind that feature availability varies by model. For more information on these features, visit owner.ford.com or your digital Owner’s Manual. "

It is possible you won't get the successful message until you drive the car after applying the update. That might trigger the memory swap where it switches over to the new version and then it reports back to ford when you turn the power back off again.

The tiles game is stupidly addicting
Is it as addictive as the cannon ball game in Android Auto? I swear I'm just going to do a couple of rounds and 40 minutes later...

I believe I found another change, this time in the Trip view; the bars look different:

Yeah, not sure I agree with the aesthetic choice there. Those bars look kinda out of place with the rest of the color scheme on that screen. Maybe we can file a class action lawsuit? ;)

There are about a dozen games in AA. Cannon Ball is my fav. My 2 year old grandson has a lot of fun with it.

I don’t get why the UK is so far behind. I’m on 1.4 and that’s the latest apparently

I'm never allowed to play :) My wife jumps on and fires up Zoo Boom whenever we sit anywhere.

I got the update at the dealer with the ā€œ24 days to sort of address the glass recallā€. Alarm settings still don’t stick, randomly asking on exit every day or two. Keeping screens dark still doesn’t stick. The trip meter still doesn’t reset with each trip. Remote start gets a guest profile instead of the profile assigned to the key/paak.
But hey… a new game.

Wooohooo! Now I can revel in the fact that my stuck 1.6.0-1.7.1 car is even further behind ?
Wow. I’m still on 1.4, you lucky dog. After 6 trips to service, Ford finally authed a new APIM unit. Should be here this week. I can start catching up!

All -

apologies in advance as i havent read through all 23 pages of posts here. Quick question though. Did this update give BOTH android auto AND apple carplay full screen ability, or JUST apple carplay? Im a job 2 android user, so im hoping that full screen android auto functionality is now being given to all you Job 1ers out there. If so, maybe it will come to me...one day...

Thanks!

Oh come on… I don’t want minor updates. I want major updates: like squeezing 10% more range out the battery, sucking juice at 350kw/h from 0-100. Battery cold management, and the fob to open my Frunk! Yes please, driving around in a job 1 with 1.6 level software version. When oh tell me when o Ford ??
