Well...

My Mach-E was unloaded from the train two weeks ago. It's now sitting in some dingy holding lot waiting to be delivered to the dealer... only 53 miles away. Just sitting there. Most likely sad I'm not driving it around Los Angeles having the time of lives together in a carbon-free loving relationship.

My dealer told me the local trucking company is super backed up because so many people are calling in sick. I could get a call tomorrow or in two weeks. Or three weeks. Or a year. Ok, probably not a year.

So, I wait. And so does my sad, lonely Mach-E.

Am I losing my mind? Yes. At least I have this forum and all its members that understand my pain. If I give my wife another update on the Mach-E's whereabouts I'll be living in it after it arrives.

Don't give my husband any ideas.

Can anyone explain what palsapp is, exactly? Overall, I'm confused about how to track the progress of delivery once the car is built, and I know palsapp is one of the components but I don't know any of the details. Also any additional insights about any other trackers would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks in advance!

@oadesign , I really don't want to be a bother, and please don't feel any pressure to respond, but I see you've been responding on this thread to requests for info using your United Road system access, and I'm dying to know where my car is!

The last day at my current job is today and I'm taking a week off and starting a new job on 01.24. I'm *really* hoping my car is delivered and prepped before the end of next week so I can get all the stuff done related to disposing of my current car and taking delivery of my new one before I start the new job. If it were to come in next week while I'm off that would be very convenient!

It's currently 'inactive,' meaning it is either still en route on the rail car or has arrived but has not yet been offloaded to the ramp.

Once it arrives, the status eventually changes to 'pending pickup.' At that point, the timing is based upon each individual rail yard.

Here in MA there are 2 local yards—one is quick, usually delivering cars within 2-3 days. The other is slow as molasses.

I'm not sure if it's the same rail yard, but @connoisseurr is awaiting his Mach-E from in one in DE as well. The delay has been terrible, but he can tell you if that's due to the rail yard, Ford, or his dealer.

@mlhunt856 sorry there’s no chance you’ll have your MME by then. If PALSAPP indicated your move from KCS to NS on 01/10, it won’t arrive to AutoPort Wilmington, DE for about 14 days. From there, anticipate a 1-2 week pickup delay AT A MINIMUM.

@oadesign @connoisseurr Just heard from the Dealer, my MME seem to have reached Kansas City Yesterday. Probably now waiting to get on a train to come to Deleware and then to NJ. Hopefully it leaves Kansas City at the earliest.

@oadesign Any idea my car has now reached to Norfolk Southern (VOLTZ) from Kansas City. Any idea what it means, is it getting on another train to Delaware and then to NJ by Road?

Yes; in my car’s case, it went from KC to Birmingham, MO, where it got on a NS train headed for MA via OH, PA, and NY (Buffalo).

Just got my tracking number from my dealer for rail Norfolk Southern. Works great my car is in Georgia on its way to Jax. Should be in Jax Monday then truck to St Pete.

Still waiting for my MME PremiuM. I asked my dealer, they weren’t very helpful besides telling me what Ford has on their website. I am also a little worried they’re going to tack on a mark up (despite a verbal guarantee they wouldn’t) because I asked about it and they didn’t really respond.

thanks to everyone who has contributed on this forum, it’s been quite helpful. I had solar installed this past week and will have a solar inverter with boosted charging. So excited to not visit a gas station anymore!
