Same for my order - crickets. Maybe it is the fact we have the same model / options ordered.
It definitely is. I think there's a triple whammy with our cars because they probably require the most parts to be available. I'm not bothered because I knew that going in but still hopeful for a summer delivery.

Not sure what it really means, but I was scheduled for 1/24 production date, but as of today it shows as "in production." Maybe they just chose to change that in prep for next week.

Shrug.

I should have ordered through a SoCal dealership instead of AZ.

I just got my build date!! no email, just checked fords website. Ordered a Premium RWD Standard battery 10/1 in Grabber Blue. Build date is currently 3/21. Increase to MSRP is only $1,000 so far, guess I'm lucky. Not sure how Ford gets away with this when they made me sign a Buyers Order form with the price listed?? I know, it's in the fine print....

What dealer did you order from? Congratulations on the build date!

Finally finally, ordered 10/18 California R1 AWD extended range, scheduled production date 3/21 ???. Didn’t get any email of the status update, saw it while doing my daily checkin. My guess is that delivery will probably be mid year (hope not), which is about release date for 2023 model ??.
This is by far my worst experience buying a car and the dealerships aren’t making it better. Ford should have a team reading all of these posts to come up with a future training program (I’m available for consulting) on electrified vehicle for their dealerships. I don’t get the fact you’re purchasing a vehicle online, then Ford forcing you to a dealership and then you’re getting shakedown by the dealership. I get that dealerships are independent and have expenses too, but Ford has to clip this now and fast before this cancer spreads.
Try ordering other EV brands ..... Ford is the best compare to others

"The Best"......in what way?.asking as I have no idea what goes on with other EV dealers/orders. Only read you can get a Tesla in a reasonable time frame. Thank you.

Oo finally got ahold of my dealer and I got a build date, 2/18! :)

Now I wonder how long I have had it. I wish Ford would send me emails :( I should've ordered online...

So you ordered at the dealer and it doesn't show up on your Ford online account?

My dealership has me register on Ford when I placed my order.

Yeah, I ordered at the dealer. Told them what I wanted, signed a price sheet, gave my e-mail and my $500. I received a confirmation email so I know Ford has my email address, but it doesn't show in my Ford.com account (that was registered with the same email I gave the dealer). I didn't get a scheduling email, but it sounds like people haven't been getting those in general lately.

So the only way for me to get status was from the dealer. They're friendly, but not very responsive. Now that I have a VIN it looks like I can get the same status as a online order could, through shop.ford.com/vehichleordertracking

There is a separate thread discussing Ford having difficulty with the Acoustic Glass and chips for the hands free tailgate.

Maybe that is why CA Rte 1s are building first.

Same thing here. I ordered at my dealer, but they used an email different from the one on my Ford account online. Then they were able to update my email address. In both cases, I got email confirmations of the order from Ford, but the order does not show up in my online account.

Long time watcher, first time poster.

I ordered a 2022 MUSTANG MACH-E PREMIUM ER on 10/1. I'm in Charlotte, NC.

Like most people, I have not received any updates. The order was accepted by the dealership on 10/8. I called and confirmed it then. I was expecting a wait, but it will be 4 months soon. I am highly doubtful I will get the car by the 6 month expected time line when I ordered.

I just checked online and my MSRP has gone up by 2k!? Has anyone else had to deal with this, and if so, do you just call the dealership and show them the original agreed to pricing?
