Mine doesn't even say that! It looks like the MSRP base price was increased. I have the original order showing it 2K less. This is what it currently says. There is no "Difference from Total MSRP", the MSRP itself increased.

Emailed my sales rep and she talked to the sales manager and he assured her that the charge would not be added to my order. I talked to him in person when I first placed the order and he said there will be no ADM. So I feel better about it, but I just wish it wasn't on the order page. Ah, the trials and tribulations of ordering a Mach-E...

An FYI to everyone that ordered on 10/01 (or early on) and made a change -

Decided to add AWD to my premium ext range back in December. It updated on my reservations screen and still showed my order date as 10/1.

Saw that some of you were getting production dates so I decided to call my dealership (because they're super nice and I wanted to see if they had any updates).

Turns out that my order date in their system had changed to December (when I made the change) and now we need to find a remedy. They're reaching out regionally to get approval for a priority but I'm really sad. I'm getting married in the beginning of July and am honeymooning out of the country for a few weeks. Getting concerned that it's going to be an issue.

He mentioned that they had received notice from Ford that this would happen for the Maverick but not the Mach-E.

Ugh. Hoping to hear back soon.

Same thing here. I ordered at my dealer, but they used an email different from the one on my Ford account online. Then they were able to update my email address. In both cases, I got email confirmations of the order from Ford, but the order does not show up in my online account.
Orders placed through the dealer will not show up in your account (I'm in the same situation) but you will get an email once its accepted by Ford and then another when its scheduled for production at which time they give you the \VIN and actual Ford order number so that you can track it at https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordert...5dau8axzpzZV8CrN6iqM670FXy8qlxA60WtRl4_HFpE#/

It definitely is. I think there's a triple whammy with our cars because they probably require the most parts to be available. I'm not bothered because I knew that going in but still hopeful for a summer delivery.

Premium âś…
AWD âś…
Ext. battery âś…
And it is not a GT/GTPE. Which are higher profit per model sold.

I just checked online and my MSRP has gone up by 2k!? Has anyone else had to deal with this, and if so, do you just call the dealership and show them the original agreed to pricing?

Funny you said that. I was FINALLY able to get online. .my order shows the 2 k increase also. I will call the dealer to ask about that. And from what I have been reading. I hope / wish the car comes by summer. This is terrible. Thank you Ford.

I also checked and there is a $ 1K hike on the base price and $ 1K hike on the options (AWD/ER) showing on my Ford.com account - this doesn't agree with the screen shot of the order submitted by my dealer on 10/11/2021. I have a GB Premium AWD/ER ordered. Guess I'll be talking with the dealer about this once the vehicle is scheduled.

I called my dealer/sales rep, and he did not even bat an eye to tell me my price was what I ordered at, and was even confused why I asked. So for now, I feel fine in regards to this.

I just got off the phone with my dealer to. He said the price for my car, is the price when it was ordered. Not the 2 grand extra.

--------HE ALSO SAID THIS -------

They do have a 2021 Grabber Blue GT performance coming in 3 weeks. The person that ordered it bailed on the order. I can have it for 74k. Which is a 5 grand dealer markup. I hate paying extra. But I am really thinking about buying it. That extra fee really kills me.

What would you guys do? Advice? If any?

I would say bargain with them to get that 5k taken off or down a lot, but with demand as it is, that probably wouldn't happen.

I have seen similar models to the one I ordered here, and I have been tempted. I just want the color. I have seen it in person once (someone must have had a 2021 model). And now I am hooked. But, I have seen multiple other 2021 PR ER RWD's at other dealer lots. And I am considering abandoning my order.... but I want to hold on. :(

Why not offer to "loan" them the $5k until they sell the one you originally had on order, and they can charge the next guy the $5k ADM and pay you back.

That's a win, win.
