@ChasingCoral, I agree it is for a good cause. My point is unless they were able to get reservations for three FEs in each color, how can a drawing be held in November 2020 with the choice of color. Especially, seeing as we now know the cut off to confirm the reservation is July 31st. Not questioning the cause, just the details.
Now that I understand your question, I see it's a very good one. Hmmm ... ?

Well, either they have a deal with Ford or they have 3 on order and there will be 3 prizes.

Or a deal with Maacho painting.

They put on a great car show every year in Denver....though this year it was postponed (likely cancelled) due to the virus mess. They‘re so we’ll known in the car community that I bet they’ll have no problem selling a lot of tickets for this.

I can get a clarification on the process for this drawing ,within a couple of days as the Organization is close to my heart. It was founded by my Grandmother and eight other mothers in the same situation,in Denver in 1946 and yes it is a great cause and the drawing is a great chance

I'm not Earl Scheib, but I'll paint any car for $29.95. (*)

(*) no guarantees on quality
My first car was a 1957 Ford (purchased for $150 in 1965 just before I turned 16). After 100s of hours removing rust and rebuilding panels, I did indeed have Earl Scheib paint it for me. I splurged and did the $39.95 paint job. Applied my own primer and did most of my own taping so they did what they described as "extra thick paint." Go figure.

The Mach-E was donated to us from a local Ford dealership as well. You pick the color. Thanks again!!
Wow! They had a donation from the future! The correct wording should be '"will be donated". You cannot "donate" what you don't have yet.

It’s been a crazy few months! While we all try to adjust to the changes in the world, the team here at Ability Connection Colorado (ACCO) has been busy making sure that all of the people we serve are staying safe, healthy and connected.

In the meantime, we have decided it is best to extend our Mustang Mach-E Drawing, which was originally scheduled to end on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

This decision is due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the postponement of the Mustang Mach-E production.

By extending the end of the drawing until June 13, 2021, we will be able to raise the largest possible amount in order to continue offering critical programs and services to individuals and families in-need. But that is not the only reason... WE WANT TO GIVE THE MUSTANG AWAY! By extending the drawing, we give people time to purchase more entries, so there’s a greater chance for someone to win the amazing 2021 Mustang Mach-E or $40,000 Cash!!!

Previous entries are still valid, but the drawing end date has been changed to Sunday, June 13, 2021. The winning entry will be drawn live at our 38th Annual Colorado Concours d'Elegance & Exotic Sports Car Show. So, don't hesitate! Enter TODAY!

We appreciate your support and hope you STAY SAFE AND STAY CONNECTED!

Sincerely,

Judith Ham

Wasn't really a fan of this, and I know I'm not going to win. I don't really understand their reasoning for pushing it back other than they want to make more money.

From the beginning, they stated that there would not be a Mach-E (or $40K option) prize unless they sold $150K in tickets. To date, they have sold less than $35K in tickets. If they quit now, there would be no Mach-E on offer (only a split of entry fees for the winner). And, yes, they stated they are doing this extension to bring in more money to support their charitable mission.

Gotcha didn't realize they were that far off from their goal. That's a lofty goal, maybe a bit too ambitious. I was hoping picking a winner sooner would improve my chances.

The prize changes to I think 50% (been months I last looked) of how much they get if they don't reach the $150k goal. That means the cash value could be bigger if it's between $80K - $150k....

The main reason is they will likely not have a vehicle in time. I guess they could say, ok you won, but no vehicle for several months....

I wouldn't mind winning... worse case I end up with two Mach E... one for my wife and one for me. I have won things before, so I am not going to rule it out the possibility no matter how unlikely... although nothing this valuable. I think the most valuable price was when I won a Xbox one from Taco Bell last year.
