Best Ford puddle lamp I've seen since the guy who got the Puma one installed in his Mach-E by mistake!

That's gotta be a different projector assembly of some type to switch between the different frames than what's in the Mexico-produced cars.

The other thing I noticed in the video is the GT emblem on the door. I like that instead of the regular Mach E4x

Basic human lights. Sad.
I’ll take basic human rights over fancy puddle lamps and a car that reports my social score to big brother (although it seems Ford is really trying hard to give us a fork of that software that reports us to AmazonGoogle) ???

I wonder if they can be configured to be “galloping” or “still” in the car settings?
I would like them to stay on longer and when the door opens, but I disagree with making them like Audi puddle lights. The Audi puddle lights totally miss the intent of puddle lights - to illuminate puddles before you get close enough to your doors to open them and get into the car ?

But do they illuminate the puddles when you are getting out of the car?

Wouldn’t spillover from cabin illumination do that? Actually, a few things that would be more practical would be illuminated red lights at the door edges to alter oncoming traffic that a door is open, and a BLIS-like system to warn you that a car is approaching if you are about to open a door (I saw a Lexus commercial that showed this feature. Seems like it would be great for kids or careless people).

After seeing the vid, I'm 100% happy with my stationary puddle lights
Agree, galloping seems a bit much. If I could have my key or the FordPass app trigger the galloping animation on demand that would be cool, but as an every day forever thing, a bit much.

I think it looks fun but as a horse person the gait seems off and it would bother me every time I see it. That’s definitely me problem though.

Now how do I get the GT badge? Lol. Priorities

Hmm.

Team Edison's chronophotography has a ways to go before it matches Dickson and Edison's kinetoscope.
Too funny - but what about Muybridge? Wasn’t his Horse in Motion the very first moving picture? ?. The Chinese pony’s got no rhythm in its gallop - but I still like it!

I couldn't remember his name, but yes that's what I wanted to reference.

Then I saw that Edison worked with Dickson and that was too good to pass up since the Chief Engineer for the Mach-E program -- which itself came to fruition through the work of Ford's Team Edison -- is Donna Dickson.

Wow - triple points for all those connections!
