Iv owned a e car before, and no one tells you that the battery mileage will be drastically different, depending on the weather conditions. I wish there were 3 battery mileage posted one at 32 degrees another at 75 degrees and finally at 90 degrees

No manufacturer of an ICE vehicle tells you that your mpg will noticeably decrease in winter with cold temps and winter gas either.

The mileage rating is based on EPA-mandated test conditions, which includes temperature. I think the challenge would be that what you do concerning heating, speed, conditioning, etc has a big impact on the range/temperature equation.

I think that anyone considering a major purchase of anything (car, home, watercraft, etc.) should do their research based on their own use case before buying.

At this point I don’t think I would buy a BEV if I lived up North! We have warmed up again and the range is responding nicely!! The cold definitely kills your range and I can tell a difference even up around 50 degrees F!!!

Summer I was getting 320 roughly when the temps were near 80. Now in the Winter I get about 180 but I never drive more than that round trip in a day so I just charge a bit more. I figured this was the case even before I bought this car because I knew my heater would be blaring and batteries simply do not like the cold.

It's not a bad idea.

Yes, people should research the cars they buy, but there is NOTHING wrong with manufacturers being open and up front about this in an easily quantifiable way.
