Hello! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd like to see how I can assist you on my end.
@Ford Motor Company . Maybe you should make this a recall statement to get out to the masses? There's more than just the 1 person you replied to on this thread having this issue. The dealers have issues figuring out what's going on (my dealers been in contact with Ford since November... and it took me reading these posts and telling them what was replaced for them to proceed). There's clearly a disconnect at Ford and individual replies aren't helping the systemic issue that have downed others Mach-e's for 3 months now...

I’d like to verify your identity before sending VIN. How best to do that?

It is a legitimate Ford account. I gave them my VIN and they created a case for me.

You VIN is public info. Anyone who walks past your car can see it.

It is a legit Ford account though. They create a ticket and send info to your local service manager.

Update on mine: BECM, harness, and HVBJB are backorder till March 24. Since I had lemon law claim they'll probably be buying back my Mach-e :(
More to come this Friday.

@Alaskan_silent_pony ask for a replacement! You won't get another chance at it, and I hear that the job 2 might not have this problem as frequently.

@BigMach-E nvmd about the wait. Just got approval for the buyback process. That's what I'm gonna work to try and do. Get a new one and make sure there's no issues. Just hate that Ziik is gonna be decommissioned.

Will update if they get me a new one

You know what? Even after what I've just been through...I'd still recommend this vehicle. The throw you into the back of the seat thing of instant torque really never gets old. Are there faster cars? Sure. Are there cars that have a cushier ride? Yes. Are there cars that have more utility? Of course. Are there cars that are better looking? Mmm hmm. Are there more efficient cars? I believe so. Are there cars that have longer electric range? You betcha. But, this car kind of hits the sweet spot on all of these categories. I hope after this work done it becomes as reliable as a ICE Mazda, but that's to be seen.

Complete coincidence, and I love the cargo cover, so, all in all, kinda worth it? I got new parts, and I have established that my most local dealer knows how to work on this car, so that's amazing.

I agree with you. And the different models allow buyers to find the most appropriate sweet spot for their wallet and their needs.

And speaking of the wallet, the MSRP is very reasonable considering all the factors you mentioned. In a few years there will be competition that beats the MME in most (possibly all) areas, but as of this year, I don't think any do.

Well this thread has made me think I need to get a jump pack. Especially since I'm taking a 600 mile road trip in my Mach E soon...my first one. It may not have helped in this particular case, but I think is a good idea.

My MME is at the dealership now getting the glass recall done. So far my local dealer has been great...from purchase to service dept. Hopefully nothing will happen to change that opinion. They said the glass recall would take maybe a week, so they gave me a brand new Escape to drive. Nice car...well, except for the gas thing.

Is what happened to me likely going to happen to you? I don't think so, but I don't know. First model year, fist real forray into a relatively new propulsion technology for this company, it's a question mark. It's not the end of the world, but it's tough.
