Alright this thread is for all you losers like me still crazy enough to wait on a year old MME. Let's hear where you are all at in the process

I ordered my rapid red Premium ER back in July 2021. It went into production in Oct 2021 and has officially been in production since then. Although I know through the ford pass app that it is currently in a parking lot in Veracruz. No idea when it will get here.

We ordered a space white Premium ER on March 24. The build date was 10/2 and wasn't completed until the first of February. Today we were told the car is in Kansas City and not sure when it will deliver. I feel that Ford should do something for the folks still waiting for their 2021's. I was planning on using Ford options but wonder if the 2021 vehicle will make the payments higher. It's frustrating reading about people who have taken delivery of their 2022's on the forum.

We took over an abandoned order for a 2021 Premium AWD ER. The original purchaser placed the order in March 2021. The car started production last fall, was marked as built and shipped in December, and has disappeared into a black hole since then. The estimated delivery date was 2/24 when we took over the order, but it was bumped back to 4/4 last week. The dealership just says that it’s on a train somewhere. Pals app has no updates beyond “Pending” with a freight bill number and no destination.

At this point, I’m about ready to give up. It would be fine if I knew what was causing the huge delay and could see progress being made, but, as far as I can tell, the car might as well be sitting abandoned in a field somewhere. I’m really hoping someone from Ford will chime in and help get us some answers.

I wonder if yours might be in Veracruz waiting on a ship with mine. They took a train from the factory to there and are now sitting in a lot where someday it gets on a ship bound for the US East Coast. That might explain why nothing is in palsapp other than "pending" which is what it says for mine.

Mine said "pending" in palsapp for the final destination (before the brief truck ride to the final final dealership destination) until the day it to the final rail yard. There was never an "in transit" or any other indicator.

Still waiting on mine….

Ordered 7/3/21, in production 12/6. Sat offsite on chip hold for two months. Finally built on 2/11, shipped 2/13, delivered to KC 2/25…..now radio silence as it is sitting at Muncie Ramp, last update as of 3/1.

Oh someday she will arrive, my space white ext AWD.

however, I do agree Ford should be compensating those original customers that ordered and waiting on a 2021 MY still to arrive.

Mine came in last week. It sucks to see people taking delivery on 2022's before I got mine. I will say the 2022's lost the trunk kick sensor and the acoustic glass. As far as I know the 2022's extra range is just down to different software so we might get that eventually.

I ordered a Rapid Red premium AWD extended range April 2021, it went into production October, Shipped November 2021. It never arrived, in Late January 2022 the dealer offered me a Premium 2022 model dark matter Gray exact same trim level. It was just ordered in December. A week later it was in production and shipped mid February. Once it shipped I got it in less than 2 weeks. My rapid red is still the phantom mustang that has never appeared. Also my dealer honored my original 2021 price as all of this was not my fault. I have to say, it is entirely worth the very long wait. I love my car almost 10 months after ordering it.

The only reason I am semi-patient is that I bought a 2021 on 7/2 from a cancelled order. And, with prices going up on the 2022s, I'll be getting a car worth many thousands more than I'll pay for it and breakeven, or better on my 2021.

Otherwise, I would be royally pissed, instead of really annoyed.

It took your car less than 5 months to come in! We could do a trade and that way my Wife would finally get the car she ordered a year later! Lol

I’m really wondering how that little dealership does it, the business manager even had a MME about to be delivered for himself right after I got mine!

It's almost criminal for anyone to be waiting for a 2021 still. I would hope Ford would do something for you guys, but I am also pretty sure they won't.
