Is there anyone who set the front 265/45/20 and the rear 295/40/20?
Everyone saw the front 255/45/20 and the rear 295/45/20, but I can't see the person who set the front 265. Is there a problem?
I can see doing a rear 295 for looks, but the Mach-E already has a little understeer. Do you really want to give it MORE understeer? I'd stay square.

Not putting words in Mark's mouth but he replaced the springs and shocks on all four corners and he said it drove like a GT. I have a GT, and it bounces. Not the same as the Premium, but it still does.
Agree with Mike. It rides just like a GT. Less bounce than a Premium but the bounce is still there. I have a GTPE and even though there is even less bounce than the GT, there is still some compared to my ICE Mustang which has absolutely no bounce. I was trying to think the other day what could be the reason and of course there are may variables but one stood out to me. There is virtually no overhang (or very little weight?) past the rear suspension. Could this have something to do with it?

I originally put 265/45/20 on front and 295/40/20 on the rears on my premium. I since changed to 255/45/20 front and 285/40/20 rears on my GTPE because wanted a different tire. I didn’t have any issues with the larger setup. I don’t autocross or track the car. Just spirited mountainous driving and like the look of beefier tires. Not concerned with any hit in range which seems to be about 10% less.

Maybe the high weight for the vehicle size? I am sure your ICE Mustang is a lot lighter, right? Maybe it is really hard to get rid of the bounce when there is so much weight over the wheels. That said, other EVs are also very heavy and some of them don't bounce. I think Tesla's generally do, except for the ones with active suspension. I have heard others post here that the Tycan does not bounce, but again it has active suspension. Your GTPE does have active suspension, so the bounce you get is weird IMO. It seems like that should have been totally eliminated with MagneRide.

What's the difference between the two?
If you recommend one thing, which one do you recommend?

Mike, yes my ICE Mustang weighs right around 4100 so definitely lighter. I’m not saying my GTPE bounces like Mach-E’s without active suspension but going over things like expansion joints definitely upsets the rear more than my ICE one which also has active suspension. There’s just something Ford doesn't have right if other manufacturers of EV’s don’t have this issue.

I’d go with the smaller setup. It’s closer to the OEM diameter and depending on your wheel offsets you will have less issues getting it just right. However there are very few same tire models made in those sizes.

Thank you for your reply
The tire I'm thinking about right now is a micelline LATITUDE SPORT3 255/45/20, 285/40/20
I think I will decide with this setting according to your advice.
If you don't mind, can I know the offset?

Those are the same tires I have. They are really good on this car. Very quiet, handles and rides well. They are OEM on Porsche and Mercedes’ SUV’s and I can see why. They are also low rolling resistance tires. About the offset, that all depends on what look you want. I’ll get back to you on this as I’m out of the country right now and leaving for a tour. I just jumped on to reply to a few questions.

Logic prevailed - went with a square set up 245/45 Conti DWS06+ on 20x9 35+ Verde VFF02

Was hard to tell checking them online but the satin finish ties into my wrap pretty dang great.

Alright Wheel Experts - Help me your me best hope! I’ve been reading about what others have installed and ran with - I’m hoping I’m not way off base here. The only things I know I’ll need to add are TPMS and some hubcentric rings; but that’s all I can think; I’m likely missing something else.

These will be going on my RWD SR Select. If the rears are too wide in all y’all’s opinion I’ll just sit on a 20x9 square set up using the below 20x9 and 245/45. My concerns with the staggered setup are what clearances I will or will not have with the 10.5 and 275 in the rear on the 45mm offset/7.52 backspacing wheels. Also the 10.5 may be too wide for 275 - from what I’ve been reading in the past few pages, is that the consensus? These where are “available” in 20x10” width per mfg but I’ve never seen them available; possibly a special order kinda deal.

Looking to run staggered - 20x9/20x10.5 here are full spec measurements of the wheels and tires-

WHEELS
Wheel Diameter: 20
Wheel Width: 9 & 10.5
Backspacing: 6.38 & 7.52
Bolt Pattern: 5x4.25
Offset: 35mm & 45mm
Hub Bore: 74.10
Load Rating: 1800

TIRES
Size: 245/45R20 & 275/40R20
Aspect Ratio: 45 & 40
Inflated Diameter: 28.66
Inflated Width: 9.65 & 10.83
Load Index: 103 & 106
Load Range: XL
Max Load Pressure: 3768@50 & 4616@50
Service Description: 103W & 106W
Speed Index: W

And since it’ll be asked - I’m looking at Verde VFF02 and Firehawk Indy 500

Thanks in advance for any and all advice and input!

people have run squared 20x10.5 275/40/20 set ups no problem

Is anyone who upgraded to wider rims and tires noticing any rubbing when turning?

I'm curious to know how how much wider of a rim and tire I can go without rubbing on u turns etc.
