I noticed that answer. Very interesting. I wonder how hard it would be to swap.

Also... I swear that the Ford rep I talked to at the LA Auto Show said the Mustang logo on the GT grille would illuminate. I would love to illuminate the logo on the regular grille, too.
That's worth buying the grill alone in my opinion. I want my pony to light up

Last week I saw lots of other folks' Q&A. This week I could see none and, in fact, mine vanished after I typed it. Really not sure how they have the webinars configured.
I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of questions being answered that didn't appear in the thread. The panelists did a pretty decent job with the Webex, IMHO. I know a lot about the platform as a sales engineer for Cisco that regularly participates in and works with companies to implement the product, so I've seen more than my fair share of poorly run events. I'm looking forward to next week's session.

I have to confess. I hate being off the grid. Everyone said I was going to enjoy being disconnected, but that just isn't for me. LOL

I did get some amazing photos via the Astrophotography mode on my phone, so that was one positive.

That's an awesome picture....imagine what the stars might look like through the glass roof of the Mach-E

I have to say, this was probably my favorite of all the videos I've seen on the Mach-E. The tech involved in the Sync 4 system was one of the main reasons why I wanted this car. It'll be interesting to hear more about these "subscriptions" they'll be offering/mandating. Also, just as I thought, it doesn't appear Alexa will be integrated to start, and will likely be an update. Also, it looks like we'll have to wait for updates to see other uses for the big dial.

I've had several debates with Tesla owners about this already. They insist that Tesla is better and you don't need Android Auto or CarPlay. It's about choice. I don't want to pay $60K and told I can't use Android Auto. Overall, SYNC 4A looks impressive. Very flexible and slick interface.
I won’t buy another car without Apple CarPlay. BMW charging a subscription fee for it? HA. And Tesla just straight up can’t figure out how to integrate. Not happening for me.

Apple car play, Alexa , Google, If you get to pick and use like they are saying. That is what everyone has been screaming about with EV cars for years. With the big screen and the talk of no fingerprints of very little. Plus no glare. I would say that the video was a big plus.

One thing I do know that I hope they address next week is. The mache could have been around 3,000 to 4,000 cheaper if ford would have gone with one screen and that was a 10inch display.

I myself I'm glad they didn't.

I would have liked to have seen more of the sub-menus.

It will be interesting to see what non-biased reviewers say about the sync4a as it compares to Tesla's interface. Competition makes us all better.

From what we’ve seen in pictures and video, and our still limited knowledge of the sync4a, I’m glad they stuck with the vertical orientation and large screen.

Yes, recall the leaked "cons" of the JD Powers review included difficult to adjust audio and challenging to schedule charging. Those both sound like interface menu issues.

Does Webex to a large group split participants up into Q&A groups or something? On the Q&A feed I saw almost none of the questions that the moderator asked, but I did see him answer the question about the screen rotating in text but then he also asked that question aloud.

As an organizor you can change the settings of the chats
- everyone can see all chats
- moderators can see all chats, posters only see their own
- moderators can see selected messages (admin sees all)

right, but I did see 2 dozen questions from others, but apparently not all of them.

Maybe in week 4 we'll find out if we can program ending SOC into the charge scheduling. Darren hinted it today saying it can do all that stuff but we've yet to see a SOC selection on the screens.
That is already in this video here: (at 1:49)

Yes, it's possible that someone directed a question directly to one of the panelists. There's a pull-down list above the entry box for the question. The default option goes to all the moderators/participants, if I recollect.
