I asked real questions to help get to the bottom of this.I kinda feel bad for OP…
Miles/kWh is always the answer. Always.I asked real questions to help get to the bottom of this.
OP We're only giving you a hard time because we are tired of seeing this question about once or twice a week (more often in the wintertime).I got my GT and it is really nice. What a powerful machine and very comfortable.
I was counting on a usable range of 270 miles so for some of my planned trips I would not have to charge for a round trip if I didn't have too. However now after multiple charges the most I can get on the range after 100% charge is around 230 miles. This is 15% less than my expectation. I have read the threads on cold weather but it has not been that cold here.
Do other users find the same thing? The real range you can charge up to is only 85% of the estimated range from Ford?
I don't remember saying the EPA was fully in control. The EPA audits some, not all. What I said is Ford did the EPA rating and chose to use a slightly smaller number. Or it could have been they used a more conservative factor in the calculations. I can't remember.Remember Volkswagen and the diesel EPA
How did that happen if the EPA Was in control ?
The manufacturers control the way EPA readings are reported in all the numbers are generated
Kind of like the way Boeing and airbus control the FAA which is why we got the 737 max crashing into the ground
You can read about it but not in the Wall Street Journal or most publications
What? I didn't say anything about GOM.First time I am hearing about the GOM?
can you explain more please?
What’s another thread between friends ????
Here is what I was thinking of https://www.caranddriver.com/featur...-factor-tesla-uses-for-big-epa-range-numbers/Remember Volkswagen and the diesel EPA

One question is, did your previous car have an estimated range display? It seems this range display is new to many people, so they never used it before.Do other users find the same thing? The real range you can charge up to is only 85% of the estimated range from Ford?
This is likely what happened. OP make sure you go back and ask for your extra golf cart batteries that go under the rear seats. They put the wrong battery in your car
